Of course this limits watching choices to things like Netflix, Amazon Plus or Hulu, and NONE carry local channels. The answer is an HD over the air antenna. They are rated in mileage from you. This Terk does the job beautifully. All of the local channels come thru in full HD quality. The Superbowl was sharp and had no technical issues.

Not so good!

We did not feel it brought in enough to be worth the price and inconvenience of it sitting in view beside the tv. We returned the device after a week.
