Great HD Antenna
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my 2nd Terk antenna, and have been very pleased with both. Pulls in more stations than others I have used. Pleasing design doesn't stand out as another required tech component, but blends in nicely. Lots of placement and mounting options.

It works well.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This antenna does what it's supposed to do. I was surprised by the quality of the picture. It's a really good antenna and is worth it's price. Set up was easy and I haven't had any problems.

Works great
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had a smaller antenna before. It was ok. This one picks up 6 more channels that I couldn't get before. Does not break up as much in bad weather.

Generally pulls in variety of local stations
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy to set up. When signal strength is strong provide very good picture and sound. Sometimes scan results include stations for which no signal is received, but we don't know why.

Indoor antenna
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The salesman steered me to this antenna as I live approximately 10 miles out of town. I moved it around until I found the spot in my house where most of the channels were easily picked up. Nice design. Would definitely recommend this to others

Good antenna for receiving local channels off air
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this antenna for my son who used it on his living room TV. We got this so he could receive local channels without having to subscribe to cable or satellite service. The antenna has an amplifier in it so you need to plug the power transformer into a power source for the antenna to work, but there is always an outlet near a TV so this is of no concern. The antenna worked right away, but we soon found that the antenna had to be placed mostly in the open (not hiding behind the TV) for all channels to come in well. The look and size of the antenna is not intrusive so this was not a great issue with his wife. Overall it worked great once we placed it for the strongest signal location.

Works well
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Picture is clear using the antenna, picks up About 8 channels, was hoping for more since it is advertised for 75 mile radius but it fairness, could be due to our home being in a valley

Pretty good but not for this area.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I believe the product is good but not for my area. For some reason my particular area of Florida, which is adjacent to Disney World, is very bad for antenna, cell phone reception, etc. We are able to receive a few channels but not all from the Orlando stations which are only 25 miles away. We do, however, receive Tampa stations which are 90 miles away.

Not sure if problem is antenna or TV.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought antenna as well as new 24" Samsung TV. When selecting the channels for the TV, channels 2-1 (CBS), 2-2 (local), 13 (Fox), and 30 (local), as well as other minor ones, weren't even given as choices to select. Don't know if the antenna didn't pick them up or if it's a TV problem or the fact that they are in the basement but by a window as recommended and facing the broadcast towers. Will call Samsung and/or Terk to see if we are doing something wrong. Didn't have this problem when we set up identical antenna with our 48" Panasonic TV.

Greek for cord cutters!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am picking up television stations that I know are at least 50 to 65 miles away from me. I am receiving 32 channels with this antenna, my older antenna could only pick up 23. The antenna also has a size and shape that does not make it stand out and look out of place in my living room.

Don't Believe the Mileage Range On This One
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this antenna to replace an older one that didn't have much range for signal. I started having issues with reception of several channels. I love Best Buy for their return policy. Even though this model says it had an increased range over my older antenna, once set up it had worse reception. It was returned and I opted to spend a little more and got an out antenna and went from 19 channels to 42. I live in a rural area at least 50 miles from the larger provider of signal and this just couldn't bring them in.

Good antenna in a generally lousy reception area.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had been recommended originally by a sales rep a different brand name of indoor antenna and then the sales person in that area suggested this one and said I can always move up to the other more expensive one if I wanted to but this one has been working out generally very good in my area that does not have good reception because it's on the Massachusetts/Connecticut border near East Longmeadow. Once I was able to prop it up on a couple of containers behind a sofa then it worked better with the cross view so to speak by the corner windows. In my situation it would not have worked well hanging up on a wall which is how it's recommended to be used. I think it's great and it's less than half the price of what that other brand name would have been. I highly recommend it!

Captures expected local stations well
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I live in a suburban area of a very large city, however, some of the smaller, less powerful antennas miss lower powered stations. I have two antennas wired into my older flat-panel TV to capture the expected stations, both have power boosting capabilities by utilizing an adapter to plug into an electrical outlet. This antenna works as well as two utilizing the same power boosting technology--and to boot, the packaging says the antenna is capable of optimizing (sometimes you don't want the power boosted if that messes with the signal; there can be problems if the antenna is powerful enough to capture signals for two stations on the same RF, which could happen if you're between two big cities that have similar "channel" designations). Easy to hook up, power cord into electrical outlet, coax line into TV, place antenna near window for best reception, etc. Worth the price in my living area environment. Cannot speak to capabilities in rural area, please check other reviewers' comments if you aren't in a suburban area. Also, antenna and TV are on 2nd floor--note that my other TV utilizing two older antennas is using 100 ft. of coax to run the 2nd antenna upstairs to a windowsill, so the idea is to get the antenna as high up in your home, near a window for optimal reception. Beautiful HD, beats paying for cable!

Great way to transition from cable
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have wanted to get rid of my cable for quite some time, but didnt think I could get "any" channels with just an antenna. This one works very well and the picture comes in very clear. I dont miss my cable or the bill!

I bought it on a whim
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I would love to be able to get rid of DirecTV. It's overpriced, and like everyone else, I don't watch even 1/4th of the stuff they stick you with! Nevertheless, I thought the indoor antenna was wishful thinking. Was I wrong! This Terk works flawlessly and has since I first plugged it in. It requires no "fiddling", the picture is bright and clear, and the sound is far superior to DirecTV. It pulls in all the network stations I watch consistently and many others I haven't tried yet. If you even think you might try "cord-cutting", start with this Terk. I've used nothing else on my bedroom TV, even though it's still connected to DirecTV; and I intend to buy another one for the kitchen. I honestly believe getting rid of cable/satellite is now possible. I did not find a single flaw with this product.

excellent antenna
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This antenna does a great job, especially when we put it in the correct window. It was bouncing off the large building across the street, but worked well once it was moved to a window with the correct line of sight.
