Customers are saying

Customers are pleased with the Omnidirectional Flat-Panel HDTV Indoor Antenna's reception, picture quality, and ease of use. Many also found it easy to install and appreciate its compact design. However, some customers noted that signal strength and range could be improved, and a few felt the price was high. The optimal placement of the antenna for best reception also required some experimentation.

Once you have it positioned optimally, wait a day. If u move things around it or just walk around it reception will change. My place is probably 60 miles from the furthest station it picks up so the unit is challenged.

Terk makes ones that work. THIS IS NOT ONE OF THEM

This model is terrible if you are 40 to 60 miles from the antenna sources you are trying to receive with an indoor antenna. Terk makes a model at the same price that works great and I returned this one for that one. This model would only receive 15 of the 25 channels I get with both of my other Terk antennae and of the 15, only 8 would come in without tuning issues. Maybe this antenna works for short mileage radius of the broadcast source but it is practically worthless for distance reception indoors.

It gave me 8 tv channels. I had zero. I think the building I live on blocks a lot of the signal.

I live in a newer house (no plaster walls) and this antenna struggled a bit on stations that were within range. The stations that came in were very clear, but I was able to use a thinner model that works up to 50 miles and that got my stations in. I will say that I purchased this based on a friends advice who gets all channels and some are right at the limits of this antenna so its quite possible that this will suit your needs. For some reason it did not for me.

I bought this out of frustration with the Cable company and the continuing rising cost. Well since I only watch the news mainly, this unit works since it picks up about 15 channels were I live.

This is better than the paper like mohu leaf antenna. It seems to pickup more signals. My issue is that I live in a brick house on a hill around many tall trees, so signal read is hard. I live in Seattle not in the suburbs. I still am not able to get all channels. I think it has to do with the age of my tv which is 2007.

This antenna works fine on the upper floors of our house however not strong enough to get good reception from the basement.

Terk antennae works well in most conditions, but somewhat sketchy in rainstorms. Key is that it works and does the job for me.

I upgraded my mom to this antenna after the first one I bought her sucked really bad. This one gets the jobe done but I really wish she had more Engish channels. It picks up a lot of Spanish channels (like 8) and only like 3 English channels. She doesn't watch much TV so 14 or so channels is fine for her but I mostly blame the technology and not this antenna. We're not quite there yet so we can truly cut the cord. The picture quality is very good though, even better than cable I think.
