Customers are saying

Customers are pleased with the Omnidirectional Flat-Panel HDTV Indoor Antenna's reception, picture quality, and ease of use. Many also found it easy to install and appreciate its compact design. However, some customers noted that signal strength and range could be improved, and a few felt the price was high. The optimal placement of the antenna for best reception also required some experimentation.

    Cheaper than cable

Gets a good signal and we're pulling about 15 channels. However, we are unable to pull one channel that we should be getting (and oddly enough, it's the channel with the shortest distance). However, the channels we are pulling work great! We're on a 3rd floor apartment in the city so not sure how well it works on ground level out of city but we're happy to not be paying a cable company for local channels.

My office is about 45 minutes from downtown Houston, TX. I have a TV in. The office for morning news, and am able to get a couple channels. I was hoping for more but that's ok. I would recommend this to somebody closer to the signal. It is light and compact.

I have two of these in my house. And both work really well, I get all the Broadcast Networks (plus their sub-channels--like METV), PBS, and the syndicated networks (ION, CW). The picture and sound is great. There's the occasional interference, but nothing too bad at all. Overall I am very happy with the Terk Antenna.

This antenna did not meet our needs at our camp, few channels, & poor reception, if any. We did check with sales person as to distance, terrain, etc., before purchasing. However, it does work well for our home, though we really don't need it there.

The antenna was easy to set up and works extremely well. Picked up lots of stations so I can save on cable. Looks good too.

I get 37 channels and about half are Spanish. I doubt this has anything to do with the antennae itself. The HD channels are very clear and that's great for sports.

It is a great product, the problem was with our location, between a bunch of buildings, so the incoming signal was very pixelated when it would freeze up. Cloudy days would make it worse. If you have a good location, this product works perfectly. The few times we had signal it was awesome to watch, but if you live on the ground floor of an apartment building this product is not for you. Do take the time to read and follow directions.

I purchased this for my brother who lives in South Florida. He doesn't have cable tv and could only get 1 channel (which was in Spanish). He couldn't even get his local channels ....so I decided to purchase this antenna for him. He text me after setting it up and was extremely happy with this product. He is now able to get his local channels plus many, many more stations as well. This is a great product. He has since stated that he has had no issues with this product.

This antenna is not very strong even with amplification. It provides a range of roughly 20 to 30 miles based on the channels received. There is no difference in range even when the entenna sits in the window. Do your research before you buy.

It works better than the super cheap antennas but it doesn't work better enough to justify the $55 more I paid.

Need an antenna to use at the lake during times when our dish TV is not in service. Worked well and plan to use it in town during the winter months as I do not have any other service.

It's not the strongest receiving antenna I've ever used, but if you have no structures interfering with your signal, overall it brings in a good signal.

This brought out quite a bit of the HD quality of the signal. The only problem is periodic signal drop out.

does a reasonable job of pulling in the local stations, but does not receive FOX 2.1 and 2.2. Do not know why, but other channels come in fairly well.

It works better by window if your in a room but due the direction its facing. I say best used in a living room or family with a lot of windows.

I wanted this antenna just for local channel use in case we ever lose satellite tv during a hurricane. I'm really surprised just how many channels this pulls in and how clear and sharp the picture is. Well worth the price!

This is not as powerful as I had hoped. The amplified signal is just ok. I can't get all channels available and I'm only 6.6 miles away from the signal source. It does what it's supposed to do but still feels like rabbit ears.

I plugged in the AC amplifier and still miss a lot of channels comparing to the cheap antenna I had. I tried to program my TV while setting at different directions but still getting weak signal even the AC amplified is plugged.
