Great for TV without cable service
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Our parents used it when they visited on the TV in the guest room. The TV does not have a cable box & this product allowed them to watch TV in HD.

Very Good picture
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased for a 2 year old 64" HDTV, works great, about 20-45 miles from different transmitters, Was impressed with picture of all main stations,as good as cable. Picture clarity was very important with the bigger screen. Mounted between my wall and the wall mounted TV. The signal from Low power/resolution stations does break up at times, but I did not want to hang antenna were it was visible.Nice feature is the USB option/included for amp, only runs when set is on.

Great HD Reception
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We recently "cut the cord" to save money on our TV bill and could not be happier with this decision. With this paper thin antenna from Terk we were able to get all of our local channels(CBS, FOX, NBC, ABC) in pure HD. I even think the picture looks better than our cable did. It is also very cool that the amplifier can plug directly into the TV thru the USB so no outlet is needed. I will be buying more this week for the other TV's in the house.

Didn't work, bad Best Buy Experience
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Needed my fist HDTV antenna as I had "cut the cord" on a master bedroom TV. Live about 20-25 miles north of Boston. Was only hoping to pull in 1-2 local affiliate network channels to watch news in morning or evening. Hadn't been to Best Buy in years. Will not return. Desperately searched for help selecting an appropriate HDTV antenna. It was hopeless getting help so randomly purchased this. Despite facing it in many directions, only get one (1) stable channel. The product box states (DO NOT RETURN TO STORE) Called the 800 helpline repeatedly. Absolute no answer. So I am totally out $70 and no TV service in bedroom. Avoid this product at all cost (and don't expect Best Buy floor staff to have changed in recent years..you're on you own if you're seeking help).

Terrible Antenna
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Terrible antenna. Living in the city and the shows keep cutting in and out all the time...very frustrating....tried several positions and still the same...Weak Signal too. Going to return this week.

Weak at best
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I lose signal at the most ridiculous things. First I have run a cord out on my balcony because placing it in the window is not strong enough signal. It has to be in the absolute perfect angle to get some channels. I seriously have to adjust the antenna by fractions of an inch to get signal. I lose signal when the train goes by and my new favorite is when a flock of geese fly by. The antenna faces a large green area with no obstructions to the broadcast antennas to the east.

The antenna works perfectly!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the 2nd antenna I purchased for my house. This one is hooked up in the den and with the amplifier I get a lot more channels than with my previous Mohu. Highly recommended.

Not Perceptively Better Than Old Indoor Antenna
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This may work very well for certain situations where a consumer is looking for a good, crisp signal, but it seems that this manufacturer doesn't capture all the channels (even according it its web site TERK.com) for our area. What channels the company says come in do so crisply. Installation was unclear by Best Buy. They stated that this antenna could be affixed to the back of the TV. Nowhere does it state that online or with the manufacturer. I am not pleased with the purchase overall, considering the premium for this product compared to other more economical options that should be sufficient for most.

Terk saved the day!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently disconnected my cable service when discussing different options with a co-worker. They mentioned getting a digital antenna so I could still get my NFL games starting soon. I didn't realize that these new digital antennas could just be placed in the house & still receive all these channels! I'm getting my favorite team in HD & only paying the cost of the antenna!! #Winning!!

Does not work well at all.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wry disappointed! Followed the directions for installation. Have antenna in a window, on the 2nd floor, nothing blocking the signal. Reception is spotty at best. Picture and audio is fractured. Complete waste of money and my time. This is for my new tv. Does not work at all on my older flat screen. Help… so not want to go back to cable!

Its okay.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It has to be in a window to work. Other than that, it's easy to hook up.

Works great...but
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The antenna worked wonderfully and had a better than cable picture; unfortunately for us, our house is brick and cedar and we're not going to renovate for television. Otherwise, highly recommended.

Great Digital Antenna!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I installed this on our new 1080p TV and it receives all the local channels wonderfully! It is nice and flat so I was able to place it flat on top of one of our bookshelves and it is not an eyesore.

Pretty much useless gadget
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Worked like garbage. Picked up a few channels, all terrible looking reception. Took it back to best buy and swapped for the Leaf by mohu. We've got a relative nearby with an antenna that looked similar and it works great, so I bought this, thinking it was like theirs. I'll try the leaf, maybe that's what they've got, (and the channels and reception are great at their house). The Terk was junk. Although to be fair, it did do something, just not what I needed. The Terk is rated at 60 mile range, which should be fine for where I'm at, but it might be better off with a much shorter advertised range and might actually work if in downtown Chicago closer to the TV broadcast towers.

Works fine for my needs.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this so I could watch the 2018 Winter Olympics without having to get cable TV that I don’t use. It worked great. Picture was clear. Rarely cuts out.

Didn't improve reception
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this for my mother who refuses to subscribe to a cable service. This was for the small HDTV in her kitchen. She had previously used a rabbit ears antenna which we actually hooked up outdoors so it rusted and needed to be replaced. After researching HDTV indoor antennas I bought a Winegard Flatwave Razor at one-third the price of the Terk. It was no better than the rabbit ears. She can not receive CBS or NBC or PBS. The only station that comes in is ABC. I saw the Terk and thought at almost three times the price it might work but it didn't. ABC was still the only major broadcast channel that came through. I should note that she lives in one of the boroughs in NYC so you wouldn't think getting reception from the major broadcast networks would be such a problem.
