    Football is back!!!

Football was the only possible reason I would sign up again for cable/direcTV/etc, and I was desperate to avoid that fate. On a whim, I bought this to pick up the Cowboys v Giants game and it worked PERFECTLY. I have CBS, NBC, Fox, PBS, and a myriad of spanish channels, totaling in at around 30 channels. I also life on the edge of hill country, so I'm pleasantly surprised at the quality. It's just situated on the wall behind my TV, so no one can see it also (not that it isn't a nice, modern style piece of technology). If you're looking to watch football, definitely give this a try!!!!

Better than I thought it would be

I have been without cable for almost two years in order to save money but there are shows on the basic channels and the news that I've been wanting to get back into watching. I was worried that this product would be just like my former roommates antenna issues but it has totally excessed my expectations. It's almost paper thin and soo light and was able to easily hang it up on the wall with no issues. The picture quality is amazing, I have an hd smart tv and the quality is just as good, if not better as if I actually do have cable. As for the concerns about how it works in weather? I was surprised when this was still working during snow and rain. You will not be disappointed with this antenna.

    Great Antenna

I think this is a good product. Before the antenna, I could barely get the basic local channels (only 5, 7 and 11)-- with the product I got all the local channels plus PBS in Long Island and Connecticut-- I live in Lower Manhattan. Depending on the day, I will get 60-80 channels-- none of them a premium cable channel, but that's ok. The only thing is that reception can vary-- so you may still need to move the antenna a little bit. Use scotch tape to find the best place before applying the more permanent mounting tape.

I was blown away by the number of channels it was able to find in my area. The resolution and reception is simply perfect; rivaling the best fiber optic cable provides'.

I ended up buying this antenna after initially purchasing the Mohu Leaf antenna. The poor reception of the Mohu antenna left a sour taste in my mouth but I decided to give the Terk a try after a recommendation by the associate at Best Buy. He was right, it worked so flawlessly that I bought another one for the den.

I went to BestBuy in search of a Mohu Leaf 30, but they weren't stocking them. Recognizing the Terk brand as reputable, I opted for this product. I cannot speak to a comparison of the two products, but I can say that I have zero buyer's remorse for purchasing this product. Crystal clear HD on 47 channels! I am so glad to have cut the cable!

This antenna is very simple to connect to your 'smart' tv. It's very lightweight and can be tacked up to the wall behind the tv or it comes with command strips so your walls won't have pin holes. It's range is limited so depending upon location, you may need a stronger one. This works for us since we aren't all that far from 'civilization'.

Terk - Ultrathin Indoor HDTV Antenna

This Terk antenna is ultra lightweight and can be placed and hidden in a window under a shade. Occasionally, I have to move it to tweek reception depending on the weather since I don't have cable or satellite tv. Otherwise, it works fine.

    Does not work!

The Terk antenna did not bring in one station! I live in a valley surrounded by mountains and lots of trees. I returned the Terk to Best Buy. I then purchased a Flatwave by Winegard (and it was half the price!). The Flatwave brought in every one of the stations that are broadcast in my area. The Terk antenna was a total disappointment.

If you live in San Antonio, save your money. This antenna would not clearly pick up any local channels. Tried it all over the house. Waste of money and time.

The salesman told me "everyone" gets all 3 major networks. Not so for me. I do live in a sparcely wooded area with large towers nearby. I only receive 12 channels total and only 2 major networks, except for 3-4 channels the reception is not good.

    Bunny ears are better

I am half way between New Orleans and Biloxi/Gulfport MS television towers. Have one tv in the house not hooked to DirecTv and had been using bunny ears on the occasion I watch television in that room. Purchased the TERK Ultrathin because the existing antenna could only recieve 5 stations on a good day and thought the TERK would be able to pull in more. Wrong--I cannot even receive 1 good station with the TERK no matter where I put the thing. Complete waste of money.
