I purchased the charger 11 months ago and up until a couple of days ago it worked flawlessly. Now it's flashing a red light. I don't know if it's a manufacturing issue or an installation issue.

Ordered it online and picked it up from the store. It was pretty easy and simple.

Works as described. We have an extra large garage so we paired this with the Lectron 20 ft Tesla Extension Cable

Works great w BME 530e. Requires a firmware update, but worked perfectly after. Tesla support was great

Like many others it worked well for several weeks but now the J1772 adapter is stuck on the handle and then it got stuck in a boot loop like it was trying to get commissioned again no amount of factory resets, or turning on and off the breaker helped apparently there is a magnet inside that moves to lock the adapter, and those seem to be failing at a spectacular rate The best advice will be just to get a regular Tesla wall connector and buy a adapter.

Same as the others giving 1 star. The charging part is working but literally after the 4th time of using the j1772 release button it stopped working. Some hr later it worked and now it is locked out and won't lock back into place. No amount of breakers on / off is resolving. Taking it back.

This is my second Universal Wall Connector, as the first one was defective out of the box - the universal adapter would not disengage from the wall unit. After having the replacement for only 5 weeks after using the replacement - well after the return period - this unit has failed with the exact same issue, rendering it useless. I am now stuck with dealing with Tesla’s awful tech support and waiting God knows how long for a replacement that will likely fail as well. Find another universal solution or buy a third-party adapter.

Knowing most manufacturers announced they will adopt the NACS connector i bought this looking to future proof my home, while retaining backwards compatibility. Looked and felt high quality, installed it and ,moment of truth, did not charge my non Tesla. I assumed a Universal charger would charge a non tesla but no. It would not charge no matter what settings i changed or how many times i reset it. My car wouldnt even recognize it was plugged in. Returned it and got the J1772 version and that one worked perfectly.

Became defective after 2 weeks. Had to exchange for new one.

Do NOT buy if thinking on using it on a non-Tesla car and want scheduled charging. You will not be able to schedule charging. It will only charge on-demand.

Item was delated twice, resulting in me not receiving my order for approximately 2 months after I was supposed to originally receive it.

When did the price drop so much? I bought this for $600+

A little on the more expensive side, but works flawlessly. Also having the universal charging ability is great flexibility for other EVs.

J3400 with integrated J1772 connection, 48A L2 charging. Good value, clean design. Mobile app is serviceable, but will improve with time.

An excellent charger for Tesla and non Tesla EV. Can use with Rivian and Model Y in tbe same garage. Get up 25 miles / hr with Rivian amd 42 with Tesla.
