    One of the best things about owning a Tesla is the ability to charge at your home so that you have a "full tank" every morning. The OEM charger is simple and connects with your app. Like their vehicles, tesla updates their chargers over the air. So it gets better with age.

    This charger was a great upgrade from the regular wall charger. But if I knew that it wouldn’t be useful on a rear wheel Tesla model 3 and I couldn’t get the full 48 amps that it pulls out then I would’ve just not purchased it. But since I installed it after the 30 return policy. I’m now stuck with it. If you want this Item please make sure that you DON’T have a rear wheel standard range Tesla Model 3.

    Great product but buy it directly from Tesla. Best Buy has a 15 day return policy that they don’t advertise. Best Buy knows their days are numbered and customer service is out the window.

    It was good to have this charger installed by an electrician that is familiar with this charger. The installation by an electrician seems to have went smooth. I did run into a problem getting this charger to hook up to my wifi, and had to reach out to Tesla. I have Eero 6, as soon as I turned off WPA3, the wall connector appeared on my Eero app. The wall connector still charged the Model Y without the charger being connected to my home wifi.
