The effects, the colors, and the music are fantastic. I can talk for hours about the music. However... the game has one major flaw. It's single player. There's no couch co-op or online multi-player. There are leader boards and rewards for achieving high scores in weekly challenges. Considering that previous iterations of Tetris that were by EA had an absolutely terrible multi-player mode, I'm ok with Tetris Effect not having it. If you like to play games solo, pick this up!

One of the best games I have played this year. Visuals and music are both great. If you love puzzle games, play this.

Tetris may be 'the' videogame. Its concept and execution have been nearly perfected and this latest installment is one of the best ever in the series. What makes Tetris Effect the definitive Tetris is the experience surrounding the classic well. Between the music and the visuals, you are transported to another world where after an hour of playing, will force you to readjust yourself back to normalcy. They went for synesthesia inducing experience, and this may be the closest you can get.

Brings back the 80's and 90's feel of Tetris with very low to no latency on the VR Headset, which is the best mode of this game. The unfortunate thing about this game is there is no local co-op so the family has to take turns getting high scores which is kind of not the point of Tetris especially playing multi-player. 30 stages are way more than enough for a single player and getting to the insane levels are impossible on the controller but possible on the VR headset. Watch the #1 player of Tetris play this game and he can get to the master levels only with the VR headset. This game is made for VR - not for the controller.

This is the best version of Tetris I've ever played! The VR is so immersive and is definitely a calming version of the game.

It is beyond any tetris you've ever seen. Every move comes to life like a symphony. It makes the game much more entertaining

It's tetris, but kinda trippy. Great game if you just want to relax, zone out, etc. Fantastic music and visuals!

You can play with all the effects in VR mode for a new tetris experience, or more conventionally if you prefer.
