I purchased this calculator and the next day it arrived at my door! The calculator has helped me so much with my statistics math class. And works like any other simple calculator, just with much more options and settings!

Easy to use, many special functions and does everything we need it to.

My daughter uses this all the time in class and at home. She no longer has to use the one from school and teaches others how to use it. Its so easy for her to use.

I purchased the TI-83 because I was returning to college again after 20 years. I used to have one of these but didn't remember how to use it. I had to relearn it using the instructions from the professor. It was a good buy from Best Buy and I know that if I have problems with it I can return it. Basically it does everything it is supposed to do and any issues are with the user, at least in my case.

My son needed this for Algebra, and I grabbed the same model I used as a child. They've made improvements to the model, but it still performs fantastic.

This was purchased for a college math class and there is still a big learning curve for me. The instruction manual promises to be a tremendous help, but for the simple calculations I've done recently the TI-83+ is quite suitable for the task at hand.

Easy to use and its perfect for algebra and beyond graphing is easy to do

This is my second TI-83 I have purchased in the last 25 years and they are a fantastic calculator serving me from high school on to now in my career. Able to perform basic math up to adding your own pre programed formulations you need to use in any type of job.

My child’s school requires the TI Graphing calculator for many math courses. Big price jump between this and next model, but this is perfect until college. By that time apps on phones will be much more powerful for lower cost.

Great calculator. Takes a little practice to learn all the functions.

Got this for my son who is a Sophomore in HS. He loves it. Took some getting used to but feels it is the best calculator he has had and it will carry him through college! Had to get it in a hurry and Best Buy was the only place who had it. Even got a price adjustment since Walmart had it $9.98 cheaper. Best Buy was very accommodating. Thanks!

This instrument has been tremendous with my success in Statistics. I have many other tools; however, I use the TI 83 more.

This is a great calculator for those finishing up high school, as well as those who are beginning college. It has all of the functions that I needed for my first math courses through college, and I'm sure it'll last through the rest. The only downside so far is the screen isn't back-lit, but that is a minor downfall.

Wish I had bought this sooner. My college aged daughter could have used this when she was in high school.

Although this is an older version it still gets the job done. I took Algebra in college and used this calculator for the entire class. I finished that class with a 96 so it works fine. It does everything that you need for algebra.

I gave the Texas Instruments TI-83 Plus Graphing calculator 4 stars only because of the price. Otherwise, there is no complaint with the calculator itself, it does much more than I know...

This calculator is awesome helps sit in my algebra and stats class not too sure what I'd do with out it

The school had this calculator as must have for students, got one at BestBuy for $95.

Cost effective graphing calculator, ideal for algebra/pre-calc.

Does everything it's supposed to do and does it well. Not much to say other than you can easily access lost manuals, do updates and more with a comprehensive website from Texas Instruments which makes this better than an cheap knockoff.
