First off I really liked the first movie so I have high expectations for this one. The 2nd movie tops the first, in terms of scares and suspense, however the pacing was a little too slow for me,and the movie would go from terrifying, to sluggishly slow very quickly, and far more than I would have liked. If you like modern scary movies, this one will not disappoint.

Decent follow-up to the first film, which was a very hard act to follow in my book. Perhaps a bit too much obvious CGI effects as compared to the first, but still a very enjoyable ride overall. Definitely has replay value. Loved the crooked man, which many seemed to hate for I don’t know why...

The story keeps the tension steady and the atmosphere adds to the uneasiness. If you've seen The Conjuring, although unrelated in story, the main characters are back in a worthy successor. The blu-ray audio is full and the ambiance highlights the atmosphere. The video quality is superb.

The haunting explored by the Warrens' in this movie is totally unrelated to the first Conjuring movie and the location is in England. What is the same are the two fine actors that play the Warrens'. The suspense that was in the Conjuring is somewhat lacking in this movie, however.

Although it is not as powerful as the first part, it contributes a lot to the story and has many moments of tension and anguish. The direction and shots of shadows, combined with the sound of atmospheres conclude a good presentation.

If you are a fan of things that go bump in the movie then you are going to really enjoy this one. I am referring to camera pans when one moment nothing is there and then bam (boo). The story line was pretty good and intense. Definitely enjoyed and a couple times jumped out of my seat.

wow i thought they would mess up this sequel it might be better than the first one. it is creepy as all get out and sounds awesome with the sony sound bar. this is one of the scariest movies of 2016 you got to watch this movie if you a horror fan. have you at the edge of your seat lol.

We went to Best Buy just to look around, maybe pick up some movies for Halloween. While there we saw this beautiful end cap and stand alone display for horror movies on blu ray for some amazing prices. We came to get 1 or 2 but left with 7 movies. Very happy with our buy!

This is a pretty great horror flick. If you enjoyed the first one or the Insidious series this is a good own to grab and own/watch. I really think James Wan has come in his own with how fleshed out his characters have become. Great bluray quality as usual with fun special features.

I saw the 1st movie and liked it a lot. But this one kicks it up to another level. Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson reprise their roles , supported by a really good cast. Great acting . This movie is pretty scary and creppy. Director holds the suspense and fear factor. Must watch.

This movie had the same feel and build up of tension as the first movie. My only complaint is the horrible cgi. One part looked like something out of the nightmare before Christmas. I'm not sure if that was what they were going for but it took me out of the story for a while. Still, if you enjoyed the first conjouring, you'll enjoy this one!

Enjoyed the first of hopefully many more to come. Conjuring 2 did not disappoint. It was as good or possibly better than the first one. If anyone has seen the first Conjuring film, this is a must see! Turn out the lights and get ready to be frightened. The demon is a hard image to get ride of the first few nights after watching this movie

Now-a-days horror movies are just awful. If you are into horrors, this film will do you right. It is not loaded with a bunch of silly jump scares. Any jump scare you come across this film is actually something to be scared about. James Wan has nailed it with this film!

Plucking trope after trope from the past 50 years of horror films, this movie provides very little new or exciting. It seemed to be trying cartoonishly hard to lay on the scares and seemed to be aimed at people just old enough to watch scary movies, but unaware of anything made before 2005. In the end, it kind of felt like if "are you afraid of the dark" had been turned into a feature film, which isn't bad (i felt entertained watching it), but the deep felt unease/chills i normally look for in a horror flick were not exactly in abundance. It was also at least 45 minutes longer than the story needed, so it's chock full of "startling" moments that have little (if anything) to do with the actual plot.

Most horror movies these days are just a repeat of things already done and are not scary. This second installment is just as creepy as the first one and definitely scares the pants offa people. Great movie for a dark, stormy night. Grab a friend and some popcorn!

Didn’t love the movie but honestly didn’t hate it either

I really love this movie from start to finish the Conjuring 2 made me respect the Warrens for their work! One story you just want to see and finish!

The Conjuring came out of nowhere and took everyone by surprise. I think expectations were high once the sequel was announced. Thankfully James Wan absolutely delivered! Incredible film. If you enjoyed the first one, you will most certainly like part 2.

We walked into Best Buy to pick out a true Halloween movie. We had already seen the first Conjuring movie so we figured we'd get the second. We got the popcorn ready and watched the movie...end result was a great movie at a great price and another movie to add to our Halloween tradition of watching scary movies.

The return of the horror era. Slowly but surely, it's returning. The Conjuring offers an incredible story and while managing to be a horror film without our usual nudity and stereotypical problems that people think horror movies should be about now.
