Excellent game!

Best Open World Rpg for its Time

Yes the Xbox 360 had just come out and this was a game that had never been made before. It's gameplay and graphics were beyond anything we've seen, and the story was compelling and believable, unlike Skyrim. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed Skyrim, but here is why this game trumps Skyrim: 1)Difficulty- This game's difficulty when played on normal is extremely more difficult than Skyrim. Yes, since the monsters' strength kept increasing when you leveled force me to stop leveling at a point, I did so for 2 reasons. I leveled to the point where the monsters were really hard. I also leveled myself to a point where I didn't get mad because the monsters were near impossible to kill, especially the weakest ones. Skyrim on the other hand, got way too easy after I leveled up the weapons and armor. No challenge at all and the gameplay and fulfillment from playing the game diminished. 2) Story- Although the dragons is Skyrim was interesting, I was never fully into the storyline. Add that to the lack of difficulty and I never thought the "World" was in danger. Oblivion, however, had a great storyline and difficulty to it and made it feel believable and that you were the one true savor. 3) Ending- Oblivion's ending was dramatic and amazing. Very difficult and very over the top in a good one. Skyrim- Very disappointing and too easy. When it ended, I was like, "Seriously?!" It's the same feeling that you get when you watch a movie and it ends too early or Mass Effect 3 (if you know what I mean). This game has replay value unlike Skyrim. I'm not sure how it holds up now to other games, but I gaurantee there's better games out there than Skyrim, and one of them is Oblivion.

great game
