The game is absolutely fantastic. It has an incredible amount of stuff to do and is a lot of fun. No subscription required is a big plus as well, and 8 character save slots gives you a lot of room to work with having a diverse time with the game. Would definitely recommend to a friend.

Its a fun game if you are into the elder scrolls world and lore, but if not, you might not find it very interesting.

Is NOT pay to play...

Despite what a previous reviewer posted - this game is not a "pay to play" game. As with any online game on a console a subscription to the consoles online features is required (example. XBL, PSN) since it is online only you will need a XBL or PSN subscription...but not a subscription for Elder Scrolls, it's a one time purchase (for consoles) buy the game and if already have a XBL or PSN account you're good, set and ready to take part in what seems to be a pretty stellar game.

Looks Great

I had originally planned on buying this game, but discovered that after spending $60.00 for the game, $50 for an Xbox live gold subscription, you would still need to pay an additional $15.00/ month to play this... I am a recreational video game player these days and am not interested in dropping that much money for a game I may only play three or four times in a month. That being said, from the videos previewing the game, it looks amazing. The online beta plays seem to give some indication of a richly developed world and intriguing game play. But lets face it, if you are not a dedicated gamer, this is probably not the game for you. Which is a shame, since I really enjoyed the prior titles in the series. Best of luck to those who do buy and play it. Have fun storming the castle!

Elder Scrolls is a fun game, and very addictive. One complaint I do have is the grouping system is pretty clunky, they could've done a better job of forming parties in this game. But overall a pretty fun game.
