It's actually a 4/5 game, but I need to rate as 5/5 to balance the folks giving it 1/5 because a) it's not skyrim or b) "I didn't want a multiplayer game!". This is and ESO expansion and I, for one, am thoroughly enjoying it. The story is engaging. Not fantastic (like Witcher 3, or Mass Effect, or [insert name of epic RPG]... but enjoyable. The world is quite lovely and the new class is unique enough that it's worth building/grinding a new character. If you enjoyed ESO at all... you'll most likely enjoy this. Because I already own ESO, I'm not sure if this requires the base game or if it's all inclusive. If for $60 you DON'T get ESO base... then it's probably not worth it. If it includes the base game AND Morrowind? Then definitely worth it. The number of hours you'll play will MORE than justify the cost. Unlike WoW, I find the sense of exploration and questing to be much more rewarding and enjoyable. Bottom line: this FEELS like a Scrolls game. No, it's not Skyrim. It's its own thing but you will definitely feel like you're playing in the Scrolls universe and you'll have fun.

ESO is an excellent action RPG, with the multiplayer. I love that it is F2P. Morrowind is a good expansion with new areas and class.

This game is slower than many because you spend a lot of time figuring things out in the menus and how to design your character. But the missions and story are great with comedy built in. You dont have to pay a monthly fee but its helpful from a crafting perspective. You have to plan that this is not a sit down in 3 sessions and beat it. Its going to be a time investment to have a better experience.

I haven't even scratched the surface in this game yet, but it's a lot of fun and looking forward to the Xbox X upgrade. Online runs smooth and I was surprised at how populated the servers were this many years out. Game seems well supported and if you're an Elder Scrolls fan, I think you would enjoy it. I snagged it new for $25 with all the content. Can't complain at that price.

I have enjoyed ESO (Elder Scrolls Online) for quite a while. But I found myself drifting away a bit and heeding the siren's call of Witcher, Zelda, and other worthy RPG's. I received this as a birthday present from my son, and after the first few minutes I was hooked yet again by ESO!! At first the Warden character didn't sound like much, but I have to say he is one of the most versatile builds in the game. Great graphics, sound, story and even the new NPC's are interesting !!! Morrowind is a crazy place! If you love RPG's and you already have ESO.. take the opportunity to dive into this major expansion! You won't regret it.

The game has hours of play. The new class of Warden is a great addition. With this being an online world, you see multiple players on the same quests. It allows for some help with tough bad guys, but caused a few glitches.

Indescively the best MMO on console. However, it follows the MMO formula and you must be prepared for that.

This game is definitely Elder Scrolls. I was surprised by how much it's like the other games in the way that it plays. I just don't know if I think that it works with an MMO. Definitely pick this up if you are a die-hard know every single thing about the Elder Scrolls but if you're just a casual Elder Scrolls player then maybe skip this one.

I've been playing this game in most of my free time lately, I'm having an absolute blast. Some aspects of the game are a bit overwhelming to learn (professions) and the game isn't the greatest at explaining what does what. After you learn, it is incredibly fun and second nature. Questing is not repetitive but you'll never get bored running between places. I decided to subscribe to ESO+ and didn't realize that, among other things, this came with what's called a "Crafting Bag". There are so many items in the game that it's quite difficult to manage your inventory. This Crafting Bag is almost completely necessary, forcing you to subscribe.

Pros: -It expands on a game that has shown a lot of improvement. -it introduces another class (the Warden). -The new area looks beautiful and mystical just like I remember. -There are a bunch of a players and active, friendly guilds. -Leveling up seems easier. -Gear drops seems great. -Dungeon finder is fantastic. Cons: -expansions always cost too much, but you could get ESO Plus. -Some content is locked behind a pay wall, but not much. -It almost gets to the pay to win territory, but not quite. Conlusion: It is like FFXIV dungeon finder, GW2 buy to play, and Everquest community wrapped into one game. It is fun, addictive, and relaxing. It brings something for everyone. Just wait to buy the Chapter packs later if you don't like spending too much.
