Customers are saying

Customers are satisfied with the gameplay, citing it as fabulous and fun with excellent graphics. Many also appreciate the vast amount of content and the expansive open world, although some experienced occasional lag depending on internet connection. While the story is considered good, a persistent concern is the requirement of an internet connection to play.

The Elder Scroll Online is a nice role play game. It starts a little slow, but has interesting twists and turns.

It's a good overall game. A couple of challenges - too much grinding at the veteran levels and difficult to find dungeo groups (as a Templar healer).

I played in the PC beta, tried the full game. Wasn't feeling it... Something felt... off. Tamriel Unlimited sucked me in for dozens of hours already. The game feels great with a controller and the inclusion of all content to date was a smart move. Very enjoyable! Highly recommend!

ONLY MMORPG THAT DOWNLOADS CORRECTLY FOR PS4

This is the ONLY MMORPG that will download and install correctly for the PS4. Its well made and have not had one error in install or updating this ONLINE game. FFXIV is the other MMORPG and it will not patch or download correctly for the PS4. There is absolutely no fixes for FFXIV from PSN and Square Enix knows its a widespread problem but refuses to fix it. ITS SHOCKING, that PSN allows any game to be ran on PS4 with downloading errors. 100% behind ESO and its CUSTOMER SUPPORT! Will be my game for the next five years now. If you like MMORPG'S THIS IS THE ONLY TITLE THAT WORKS ON PS4 for me.

I have tons of fun with this game. The character customization is great and there are many different ways to experience the game, allowing you the freedom to play however you like. There is no mandatory monthly subscription to play this MMORPG, which is a huge plus for the genre.

In past elder scrolls has always done a great job with bathesda but this game with its customization with your character it is well beyond my expectations. The world is really in depth. My only issue is the carrying capacity and the limited space that you have in your bank to hold things so you have to build other characters just to hold your other items. The fighting system is really fun and the PVP aspect can be a little daunting at first but kinda grows on you as you learn more about the game. Hope anyone who reads this tries it and if you dont like it that is ok. Safe travels and dont forget to stay safe.

Hours and hours of fun for my son and I to play! Gameplay isn’t to hard. He is 9, I’m 30. So much to do on the game. Can’t get bored!

We purchased the PS3 version in the beginning and was disapointed with the visuals and game play. We have nothing but accolades for the PS4 ver.

I enjoy this game ,but it feels just like the stand alone games except there are some other players to help. It doesn't feel like a MMO to me.

Due to less than impressive reviews, I held off on buying this game for quite a while. While the game play is pretty standard for an MMO, the frustrating thing is there is no text chat for console players. The only option is to join voice chat or use emotes. The lack of text can make things a bit isolating. I treat this more like an RPG than an MMO. That being said, it has an okay story line and the play style on the PS4 is easy.

Though a slightly different experience than traditional single-player Elder Scrolls games, this game is a blast with friends. Keep in mind: there seems to be some issue with tackling quests with friends who aren't on the exact same page as you. Friends will be invisible when in quest areas if they aren't on the same quest step.
