Customers are satisfied with the gameplay, citing it as fabulous and fun with excellent graphics. Many also appreciate the vast amount of content and the expansive open world, although some experienced occasional lag depending on internet connection. While the story is considered good, a persistent concern is the requirement of an internet connection to play.

Even though the game was initially met with criticism, the updates and additions since 2014 have made this game great. If you're looking for graphics as good as Skyrim, you'll want a little more from this title but the MMO aspects make up for it. Hundreds of hours of questing and dungeons. Would definitely recommend, especially for the price.

As a long-time player of Bethesda's Elder Scrolls series... starting all the way back with Arena... I love their Elder Scrolls Online product. The interface is familiar, the graphics are outstanding, the quests are interesting, and I am having a great time. Highly recommended for fans of the Elder Scrolls series of games. Thanks, Bethesda!

It's Elder Scrolls. That you play with your buddies. Get this game now. Still has the goofy animations that you're used to from Bethesda games like Oblivion, Skyrim or Fallout. To me that is a plus though as I find them hilarious in 3rd person view. But I mostly play first person in combat. So definitely keep that in mind if bad animations bug you.

This game is okay. It's nowhere near as fun [in my opinion] as Morrowind, Oblivion, or Skyrim.
Granted, I'm an individual who doesn't particularly love the online gaming / MMORPG experience. I thought I'd try to play this style of game since it was from a franchise I know and love; it wasn't enough to overcome my aversion.
It's basically a console version of WoW with an Elder Scrolls skin.
If you like this kind of game, go for it. I got it for $15.99 [$19.99 price with 20% off for Gamer's Club]. For that price I'd say it's worth it.

gameplay is great but can be difficult to navigate through the opening especially if it's your first venture into online games-- requires Play Station Now subscription service too!

Not as good as Skyrim. Bought this to hold me over until they redid Skyrim. Same basic game, this one just feels unfinished, rushed. This a good game and worth the money if your a fan.

The Elder Scrolls released on PC prior to the console release. Despite launch day bugs, the console port has been a strong adaptation of the PC game with the interesting addition of location based voice chat. This has been a fun game to play.

At first I was disappointed at how different this was from Skyrim. But, once I started playing, I learned to enjoy it. I especially got addicted to battling the other factions. It was so funny that it got personal at times between players. Once, it even became political. Never experienced anything like that in a video game.

I wish I could rate this higher because I love skyrim, but the beginning of this game is so slow to start. I know RPGs and especially MMORPGs take a while to get into, but I played almost 2 hours of this game and I didn't feel like I even did anything and couldn't learn any of how the game works. If you have the patience to learn everything about the game and delve into the world and lore this may be a good game for you, but if you just want to hop on play and have fun, there are better options.

I purchased this game for my husband, 43, and he loves it. He used to play World of Warcraft and was looking for another RPG.
