A great improvement over the 4th Elder Scrolls games, in terms of game play and story.

Great game. Make sure to buy the map packs. It does lock up now and then but it has really good graphics. Its running your ps3 at full rpms. Fun Fun Fun

i have been playing for a week now and love this game.as good as oblivion and better.

I have no complaints about the game. Not just the best Elder Scrolls game -- even better than Morrowind, it's the most complete video game I've ever played. The only thing missing is a race track (modders?) I'm still giving it four stars, subtracting two (I'd give this game six stars if I could), for I am one of the many who preordered this game from Best Buy with the promise of a special map that they advertised. Other retailers advertised free gift cards, I went with the map. Of course, as many of us know, the map was a lie. Sure it was limited availability, if by limited they mean ZERO. Not because of Best Buy, but because of Bethesda. Bethesda reneged on the special editions to Best Buy, at least in the Pittsburgh area, which was the version with the map. Best Buy can't fix or replace what Bethesda never gave them. So points taken from Bethesda for this. A petty gripe, maybe, but I could have had a ten dollar gift card elsewhere, and no one likes empty promises.

The graphics in this game are amazing and the gameplay is great. Didn't experience any of the problems that Bethesda has become known for.

Great overall, only down side It is different compared to the last 2 elder scrolls, but still amazing!

Many side quest, main store is great. One of the greatest RPG of all time. Great game, perfect for hardcore gamers. This game can be very addictive. I suggest to have free time before you start because it is over 100 hours long. Love it.

Bethesda Studios does it again. Skyrim is a world that you will get lost in for hours. Whether you're cruising through the main story or just joining a guild and getting married. There is something for everyone. Seamless game play and ridiculous graphics pull you even deeper into this amazing land.

I waited to purchase my guidebook until the updated version came out; glad to have the new content highlighted!

If you like open world adventure games, they don't come any better than this. Its super long, looks gorgeous and plays great. By now you know what The Elder Scrolls series is... This is the best one ever.

Other reviews looked good so I bought for husband. Now husband and teen daughter are wrapped! Only complaint is that it hangs up/ freezes sometimes. Otherwise great game!

You will spend hours and I mean hours doing quests and all sorts of quests. This is everything final fantasy isn't at the moment, and that is great!

Skyrim might be the best video game of all time, and that's saying a lot. HOURS AND HOURS of fun and adventure in this game, and it never gets old. I can't recommend it enough.

it's a really good rpg action game for people who like fallout or mass effect. once you start playing you get really into it, which can be bad or good. story is somewhat different but easy to follow.

Great game. Haven't had a chance to dedicate a bunch of time to this game yet, but the time i have spent has been fun. Took me awhile to get the hang of how everything works as far as using magic and assigning points to talents, etc. A lot of frustrating deaths and long walks to nowhere, but it's all part of the learning curve.

I have put in 60+ hours and loved every moment...until my save file exploded in size. That's when it began to freeze and was very choppy. I stopped playing in hopes that this will be fixed, but Im not holding my breath.

don't normally play these types of games but i was instantly hooked.

Kinda hard to figure out what you have to do. Overall game play is okay. I got it because my friends recommended this game, but wasn't as good as I expected.
