LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this CD! One of my best purchases from Best Buy in terms of music. I'm slightly biased since I'm a huge fan, but I constantly have this CD on repeat!

Purchased this CD not having purchased Janelle Monae's previous album (Archandroid) and I find that its like starting to watch a movie from the middle, so now I must buy her first album! Allot of people are saying this is a concept album(...or something like that) and you really need to listen to it from the beginning to follow her story line. Nonetheless, " The Electric Lady" album has you hooked right from the beginning! Her voice is so pure and powerful and the lyrics are so beautiful and deep. I love every single track! She has some great features and tracks with "Prince" Erykah Badu, and Miguel! I would definitely recommend this! A beautiful and energetic album!

Janelle Monae does it again! She has a wonderful variety of songs, easily excelling at many different genres. The guest artists are fantastic and add a lovely flavor to the album. Finally, I love how she has kept with the story-line of Cindi Mayweather and has added depth to the development of this character and her plight. LOVE LOVE LOVE!

Janell Monae's third album in the android series does not dissappoint. The album is as long as one could hope, and the radio DJ interludes only add to the feel of the new album.

Saw her perform a lot of these songs like and knew I had to have the album. It did not disappoint.

This is an excellent CD, especially if you like the reminicent of Parlament Funkadelic and Prince.

This is one of the best albums yet. From the beginning to the end you will love it.

Nice tunes. I liked the majority of the songs, primary the single, probably because I love Prince so much. She has a very interesting sound, kind of psychedelic.
