It's David Gilmour for sure,it's been along wait so a true fan will enjoy most of it, only one vocal which is some what disappointing, some songs are in the short side but over all it's good music.

I have loved Pink Floyd for 40 years and was very anxious for this new CD. It is not classic Pink Floyd and will not make my top 10 list BUT I did enjoy and find the music relaxing and inviting.

worth the wait between studio albums ... Although missing Roger Waters vocals this album takes us on a musical journey that will undoubtedly invoke memories of the Great Pink Floyd ...

This is a bunch of recordings left over from the Division Bell sessions - Not much song structure, but really cool soundscape. Kind of elevator music with an edge.

Let me start by saying that because I am a die-hard Pink Floyd fan, I had no choice but to add this album to my collection. Otherwise, it would not be complete. That being said, if you are a casual Pink Floyd fan and not a collector, this album should not appeal to you because the music therein does not represent the Pink Floyd sound. Sure, it does have a few riffs here and there that evoke the classic Pink Floyd sound, but the over all experience is not as satisfactory.

If you are a fan of Floyd's music, and no concepts or lyrics, then this is definitely the album for you. I do like the music, but it plays more of a role of ambience in the background, and nothing more. I haven't really listened to it unless it was playing in the background. Being a fan of Pipers, The Wall, and Dark Side, I wanted more from this CD than it offered. There are barely any lyrics, which in my mind, contributes to what makes Floyd, well, Floyd.

Although there are a lack of lyrics on this release (except for 1 song), it's hardly noticeable. This is not an album of new songs, it's a collection of unreleased material from the past, more tasty stuff for Floyd lovers. Turn it up and immerse yourself!

If you like background music and Pink Floyd then you will love this CD. No words, just music until the last song. I really enjoyed the the CD up to the last song when David Gilmore tried to sing on the final song. Overall I would give it a 9 out of 10.

It really feels like we're back in 1994 and never waited 20 long years. The general sound is very close of The Division Bell, and feels very familiar. So if you didn't like The Division Bell, you might feel the same with this one. Some moments remind us of the really old times though. A reminiscence of 68 and some echoes against the Wall here and there. Rick Wright's synthesizers make us wish he was still here.

Unreal music after many many years of not being in the studio! Classic 70's sound of the band with a fantastic lead of David Gilmore and other original band members. would recommend this disk to any "audio-head" and especially any Pink Floyd fan!

I would have liked it better if they had included more vocals and upbeat solos. It is still enjoyable, relaxing.

I am a big fan of Pink Floyd and having one last piece of material completes their saga. Always love listening to Gilmour's guitar work and tsince this is mostly instramental, put on the headphones and buckle in for the ride!

Any pink Floyd fan will appreciate the new album which was leftover tracks from the division bell album from 1994.. Basically the entire album is instrumental except for "louder than words" which is vintage pink Floyd...

Always a pleasure to hear the unique sound of Pink Floyd with such a guitar and keyboard responding each other. a deep introduction typical from the group, a full immersion in waves of melodies but no pink floyd voices before the last track. Why not call it the instrumental new album of Pink Floyd. A bit of frustration to me even if I don't regret my purchase.

I ordered this as a Christmas gift and received it the next day. It's nice to know when it will be delivered in order to receive it and not have the courier leave it unattended for possible theft.
