It has a strange spooky storyline along with puzzle solving. Run to avoid getting attacked by I call the lala monster. I manage to make it through the game when I feel I can't. Been a long time since a game has got me screaming ruuuuun !!

Amazing game that flew under the radar

Bethesda went through a little phase where they announced sequels out of the blue that were only just a few months from release. This game got lost in the shuffle in a pretty big release year, plus much focus has gone to online multiplayer, which is sad because single player games are still some of the most well made games. This game improves on the original in every way. It feels different, it plays different, it looks different. This entry solidified the series for me and I truly hope that a third game is made to close out the open storylines from the first two.

Another great Evil Within game...

You really feel tension as you try to progress through this world and keep from being seen. It's not all stealth though...there's lots of cool action set pieces and a very thrilling story. Highly recommended.

A HUGE improvement over TEW1

Stealth especially is more a bonus than a MUST like the first game. The leveling/combat is much easier/more fair than all the instant-kills of TEW1. The story is still kind of a hodge-podge of horror elements but so was the first game's. At least this one tries more things.
