Extremely creepy/horror moments but also great action and gameplay. Recommend playing the first game prior to this one. Some levels are more of an open world style but still pretty tightly designed. Great sequel.

If you're a fan of Part 1, The Evil Within, I suggest you stick with that. This was flat out boring.

I really liked the first Evil Within game, and I thought this game was an improvement on the first. I thought the story was less meandering and had a better sense of atmospheric dread, which for these types of games, is one of the most important aspects. I thought the gameplay was slightly better also than the first, though that naturally isn't what these types of games are the absolute best at. If you liked the first game than you definitely would like this, since it's more of the same with slight improvements overall.

Fantastic game! Way better than the first! They spent a lot more time on this game vs the first one and it shows. This is how the first game should have been. Honestly if you haven't played the first you can just watch a recap video then jump into this game. They fixed a lot and changed a lot and did very good with the graphics and the horror aspect of the game. Beware of playing this game with the lights off haha. There are some instances that will happen to bring back some feels from the first game and some good " heck yes "moments! There are some creepy monsters in this game that make you go NO NO NO! You can explore a lot of the world too including houses ! I recommend playing the first game for the story continuation but if you don't want to thats fine. This is a great horror game and was done very well and I will always recommend it to everyone!

Survival Horror done well. I’m very critical of most games and I really wanted to give this game a 4 instead of a 5. However, I couldn’t find fault with any part of the game. I could pick on some small issues but those are very small. If you like survival horror you should pick this game up. I don’t really care for the genre myself and only picked this up because of the october halloween time of year. I enjoyed the game more than I thought! Be ready for a creepy mind mending time.

Unlike congresswomen Wilson this video game is not an empty barrel. The game matched the hype we were led to believe. The storyline is believable and the developers went to great lengths to assure accuracy relating to the original games authenticity.

I like the evil within when it came out and now evil within 2 is here i going to buy it and enjoy this horror experience..

The game is good. It's similar to other games such as Resident Evil and Dead Rising. If you enjoyed those games you'll enjoy this one. I will say I had more fun with Resident Evil VII earlier this year. So if you haven't played that, I'd recommend that one first.

If you played the 1st one, you should play the 2nd as well. Story is great!

I was able to beat this game in 5 hours. It's nothing like the first one. It's overly easy, way to shot and not at all creepy or scarey if your looking for horror. Don't bother paying full price for it just red box it and beat it within a day. Story is lacking as well extremely disappointed in this game.

This is an awesome sequel to one of the creepiest games of all time. Relay value is great playing it on ps5 now
