Better than the first. Great sequel to a great game

Sequel to The Evil Within. The first one has roots in being a cult classic. The sequel is still a joy to play, but doesn't hit the notes of the original.

I would say this one is better than the first one.

No wonder it feel like Resident Evil. It's produced by it original creator. Fun fluid gameplay, some tense moments and semi- open world.

Good game play and story make this Gane a much better experience then the first one. Get this game if your a survival horror fan.

Better the the original, kinda like Silent Hill but more up to date. Price was great, $7.99.

Everything has improved from previous game, graphic, sound, framerate, interpace, camera. But its core fact which is scary part.. its not scary as before I mean the pace of the game all together feel bit "not so horror game" kind of feeling. More of an survivor action game.

Excellent follow-up to a already great game probably just as good or better a little more open Sandbox game

3.5 Stars. Having fun with the game. Graphics are good, story is ok. But I find the interactiing a little slow at times. Picking items up, opening doors, etc, seems to take a little longer then it should.

This game is amazing, scary and difficult. If you are looking for a horror game the evil within is the game.

The gameplay is smoother, but the imagery isn't as unique or memorable as the first game. The game feels a bit more generic. Still, if you're looking for horror it's one of the better choices this year

So my review comes from my friend and not myself as I am only half way through the first. The first game is very scary but also very mind boggling. What my friend noted was the items that the first failed to do, the second makes up for them and makes it smoother. Looking forward to playing this.

Graphics are not as good as resident evil 7 but its a really good scary game with amazing art presentation. Really enjoy this game even when is not as scary as first entry on the series.

fantastic game and keeps you on the edge of your seat its definatley a scarey one like Resident Evil

Picking up several years after the first game, we find the former detective Sebastian Castellanos in dire straits, still wracked with guilt over the loss of his family and haunted by his last visit into a nightmare version of reality.

The Evil Within 2 is a much better game than it's predecessor. Technically, it doesn't have the framerate problems the original game bad or the very annoying letterboxing (although a patch did offer an option to remove them later on)
