This game tries to be a worthy successor to Resident Evil 4 and mostly succeeds, though it drags on at some points. Definitely worth playing through if you're a fan of survival horror games even though not everything it tries hits the mark.

The game is good but it could be better. I enjoy the challenge of it being tough to beat and it's spooky, gory and sinister, but it did NOT captivate me or get me hooked on to it.... the way truly great games do!

The gameplay is really fun, but I found the controls hard to get used to. I guess I just need to play it more.

Love the survival horror vibe. Definitely reminds me of the Silent Hill game series but more graphically gory and ten times scarier with terrifying monsters/creatures and suspense. It really keeps you on the edge with it's gripping story and true survival gameplay. I gave this a four star though because the saving process really bugs me. Like, the save points are really stretched out at random times so if you die, you'd have to do over a good chunk of gameplay. But that's just my opinion. Other than that, it's a really good game.

Great, creepy, jumpy, suvival horror game. I have been waiting for this game to come and i am very pleased. The sense of helplessness really enhances the scariness of the game. Well i am not done with the game but here are my gradings so far. Graphics: A- Plot: B+ Challenging: A- Characters: A Scariness: A- Sound: A+ Overall: 8.9/ 10.0

Be prepared to be scared out of your pants. Make sure you play in total darkness. If you are playing alone, where headphones so you can pick up all the whispers and details.

The director of resident evil 4 made this and it is a great game. This is what RE 5 should have been. Stealth kills are a little tough but satisfying and rewarding. The story is ok but the game play makes up for it. Upgrading your weapons are a must and make sure the bolts are upgraded especially the explosive, electric and harpoon.

I like these type of games and picked it up on black friday for ten bucks. The install didn't take much on the PS3 and over is a good game.

a intense, dark, gaming experience that is nothing short of a wonderfully dark and macabre genre! Well worth the price!

The graphics are grainy at times but overall a game that if you play n the dark w/the surround up will scare the S$$T out of you..

I purchased this game as a gift for my younger sister, who is a fan of the horror genre, and she has been absolutely gushing over it.

Guessing suppose to be more of a thriller, but I haven't heard anyone in my home that is playing the game scream yet.

My son loves this game. He gave me a list of three games for his approved Christmas present, and this was at the top of the list.

I played it as soon as I got home, so far has been very exciting and creepy by yourself late into the night.
