Scary and cool. Good mix of horror action and strategy

I'm only 2 chapters into the game, but it is exactly what I hoped it would be. It's scary, eerie, gritty and the gorgeous environments just suck you in. I would almost say that it's a cross between Resident Evil, Alan Wake, and Tomb Raider. I can't wait to dive back into it this weekend and start leveling up Sebastian even more.

One of the best survival horror games to be released in years. It is great to see the mastermind behind Resident Evil 4 back at the genre that he helped define. A definite recommendation to anyone who is looking for a game that is a cross between the best in the Resident Evil series with the best elements from Silent Hill.

My experience with buying online from Best Buy was a pleasant one. I'm very happy with the game. One of my favorites.

It's like RE 4 and Eternal Darkness had a love baby. Very creepy (given the right ambience). I'm not too far in the game, but I do love that there aren't arrows pointing where to go, or maps that you can access from the moment you start the game. TEW is going back to the roots of "survival horror," and I like it. Bravo.

Good game from the master of survival horror. Has all kinds of different horror game styles, everything from Resident Evil to Silent Hill. If you like survival horror you will like this game.

This game is a lot of fun to play. Not for the squeamish as there are a lot of very graphic scenes/settings/characters, but if you enjoy intense horror survival games, this one is for you. Sometimes you can kill enemies, other times, it's better to just run away and hope they lose interest....they usually don't.

Fun game, not much in the way of a story line. The camera angle is kind of irritating as it is zoomed in too far with no option to change it. Also, the gun play is kind of sluggish.

When my 13 yr son plays this game he turns the volume all the way down so that he doesn't get to scared

The same man who created the original Resident Evil series is the same who developed this game. And, you can tell. I love it. Im not finished with the game yet but so far it has scared the heck out of me. And, that is what a survival horror game is supposed to do. Mission accomplished.

HAVENT gotten far into the game, but if you want to be horrorfied scary on the edge of your seats playing; this is your game. Graphics are good, theme is average, but fun is great! IN MY OPINION, THE GAME IS BETTER THAN Most horror themed games.AND WELL STRATEGICTLY WELL PUT TOGETHER.

Game is great. good for anyone who likes a little thrill

It's great game the story is a little confusing at first but once you start progressing into it is not that bad, the only thing I didn't like is that the game is built in a letter box meaning you are not going to see the game full size on your TV. Besides that it's really good.

This is one of those games I've been waiting years for developers to make. Games aren't for the youth anymore and this game heads that direction. It's like an interactive horror movie. I'm looking forward to more games being developed where they completely take the gloves off.
