Disney did a terrific job in portraying the story of one of the US Coast Guard's greatest rescues at sea. Was impressed with the rich soundtrack that's sounds amazing with a decent home theatre setup. High action and drama that brings the screen to life. Very inspirational story about the very best that serve our nation at sea.

Loved this movie, showed true acting and heart. I did not know the history of the incident the film is about and felt enthralled the whole time, who would make it who wouldn't kept me praying for the crew even though this happened years before I was even a twinkle in my parents eyes. Great film

This is one of the most intense movies I have ever seen --and it's based on a true story from the 1950s! I would gladly give it 10 stars if I could!

The Finest Hours is a rock-solid motion picture, a simple, classically styled story of the human spirit against the odds. As far as the product itself goes, it's on par with the other Disney releases in terms of packaging and presentation.
