    Although I liked LOTR way more, I still think this is a must have for any true fan of JRR Tolkien's work. Acting work is very good.

    The trilogy is well done and most of the book is captured. The deviations do not distract too much from the viewing. Overall quite enjoyable

    I love the fact that the style of this set matches The Extended Cut Lord of The Rings Collection. Fun films that look amazing on Bluray!

    I have enjoyed the whole Hobbit/Lord of the Rings series. I thought LOR was better but the Hobbit was also excellent.

    The Lord of the Rings trilogy wowed the world when it came out. The DVDs took it a step further. The Hobbit was met with a much more tepid response, however the extra features provide just as much of a wow boost... just from a lower base line. If you are a completionist, if you are interested in the process of film making, if you love extra features... get this, otherwise pass.
