Returned it because I bought it at Snellville, Osman Needs fired

I grew up with the Tolkien book set and was always fond of the Rankin-Bass animated films. I.watched them every chance I could get. What a time to be alive to get to experience the story again adapted to live action. The films do a great job of staying true to the original story and still providing gems reminiscent of the cartoons. I enjoyed experiencing them with my kids.

I did NOT see any of the 3 movies in the theaters. I did NOT rent any of the movies when they were available. I did NOT buy any of the theatrical release versions on Blu-Ray when they were available. I did NOT read reviews about the story. I waited and waited and waited for the EXTENDED version Blu-Ray, just like I did for The Lord of The Rings Extended edition and when The Hobbit Extended edition came out on release day November, 17, 2015 I was at Best Buy ready to buy. I got my copy and watched ALL THREE over 2 days and it was totally worth the wait. The Extended edition was worth it and the price of $60 while a bit high was worth it too. My discs played perfectly on my PS3 on a 48" LED Samsung with 5.1 and it was fantastic without any issues. The only thing I can say is that The Lord of The Rings was better overall, but The Battle of The Five Armies was incredible. The previous 2 movies in the Hobbit were ok, a little slow but a nice stage set for the 3rd movie. Good things come to those who wait.

Nothing but the finest for my wife and I. Fantastic movie series, extended versions of the movies, amazing picture, and all the blu-ray extras. If you are a fan of fantasy adventures but haven't seen this or LotR, you really need to see them all...

I watched the movie & was like it was the absolute best series & was immediately hooked after the first movie & couldn't wait to watch the remainder ASAP

Received set as ordered. Gave them to our daughter for Christmas. The third night in as we were concluding, no disc. There was NO third movie. Bad quality control. When I called Best Buy, they acted like they were doing me a favor "waiving" the shipping fee for replacement. It will still be another week until we get it. We live an hour away from the nearest store or we would have returned it and gone to Walmart. I don't think I will order online from Beat Buy in future. You are only as good as your Customer Service. They should have discounted it for us!
