With the overhauled visuals and animations, to the improvied AI and the use of the PS5s haptics, The Last of Us Part 1 is the defintive way to play this timeless classic. In my roughly 20 hours of gameplay, (Having platinumed the game) I am happy to report that I only experienced a couple minor graphical glitches, and that the game ran at a smooth 60FPS throughout. While the price is a little steep, I do think that it is justifiable considering the amount of love and care that was put into this remake. The facial animations are some of the best i’ve ever seen in a videogame, and I couldn’t get enough of the photo mode. The new cosmetics for Joel and Ellie are neat too. My only complaint is that the excellent multiplayer wasn’t included in this package. But from what I understand, Naughty Dog is currently working on a standalone free-to -play multiplayer game that is expected to release sometime within the next year. Overall, I think it is worth the retail price, especially if you are a new player. However, if you’re interested but feel the price is too steep, I have seen it go on sale for as low as $50 USD.

One of the classics remastered for the 10th time but it looks and plays great just like it always has. Can’t say too much that hasn’t already been said about this one

I’ve bought both the PS3 and PS4 versions. I was going to wait to get this on Black Friday or when it got a bit cheaper because I too can’t justify the price tag. But playing through the campaign again with the power of the PS5 is absolutely amazing. Truthfully feels like you’re playing it for the first time if I’m being honest. If this is your first play through (lucky) then the price is so worth it. If you’re a veteran like me, it’s also worth the price. Maybe if you have a $10 dollar discount but this is definitely not a cash grab. A masterpiece of a game!

The remastered version of the Last of Us Part 1 was everything I hoped for!! The graphics were great and the play was seamless. I really enjoyed playing and comparing it to what was in the tv series. Really excited to play Part 2 remastered version as well.

One of the best stories to ever be told in a video game. Graphics are absolutely top-tier and accompanied by an amazing soundtrack.

Great game as it was when i played on PS3/PS4 one of my favorite of all times the PS5 version improvements r much appreciated graphics r amazing nothing mind blowing but def improved and playing at 60fps is super smooth vs the 30fps prior i dont feel its a 70$ must buy if you already played and beat it but i got it on sale at bestbuy north haven for 49.99$ i still think even thats high for such an old game if you already played it but if you get it on sale for 30/50$ bucks its a must play for ppl who played in the past and if your a new comer then the 70$ price tag isnt bad seen how you’ll experience the awesome story for the first time in the best way possible just not worth 70$ if you played like i did on the P3/P4 and now P5 in all great purchase you wont regret

It's beautiful Naughty Dog's jewel showing that he knows what he does, he has impressive physics, excellent graphic engine, very beautiful physics and a great story. One of my favorite games

First time playing TLOU and it was amazing to get a chance to play with the updated graphics. Story was great and emotional. So far one of the best game out there.

Another masterpiece from PlayStation Studio—a must-own! If, for any reason, you haven’t played this game on previous consoles, you’re missing out on a ton of fun. I first played it on the PS3, then the remastered version on PS4. I eagerly awaited the remake’s launch when I first heard about it.

Got a great deal on this masterpiece shipping was also great it arrived on time and in mint condition and of course tlou1 is a masterpiece one of the best games ever made 10/10.

I have played the original remastered version on ps4. Now the PS5 version is the way to play with the updated graphics and modernized mechanics! Great buy if you want to re experience the story again or you could play with the director commentary for a greater sense of context on how the story came to be or behind the scenes of the game! Either way, you will experience what many including myself regard as a masterpiece.

me personally, I think this is the best game to exist. to me. it's fun, emotional, funny, super immersive, absolutely stunning visuals, encapsulates nature very well. friendly characters are lovable and real. enemies are deadly. very apocalypse, much survival. it's a really fun play. i haven't been able to get over it since i first played it. it's the same as the remastered but with better visuals and audio, the mechanics are smoother too. to me, personally, it was worth my coin and more. love ND. they did amazing.

Great remastered edition I don’t think it’s worth $70 but still worth playing the game on the next gen console.

Game disc was in perfect condition, and the game itself is amazing as well!

Great game to buy on a sale if you played it twice before. The PC version is busted so this is the definitive version.

Be warned if your a father and have daughters this game story line hit me personally really hard! Right within the first half hour I was pulled in to it deep! I don’t want to spoiler so I’ll end review with it’s a great game so far, ps graphics are phenomenal and game is fun.

I didnt think this game could get any better. I was wrong. They took all the best combat mechanics and playstyle options they put into LOU2, & put them in this beautiful 4k remake. Its the same game as the original, just upgraded. Still in my top 3 of all time. I genuinely feel bad for people who never played this game.
