Love this game regardless of bad reviews it may have received from the gaming community. The first part was a masterpiece and deep down I feel this game was an awesome sequel. If you love a great storyline and long game with quality gameplay/graphics then this game is it for you! The steel book is beautiful a must have for any collection!

If this is your first game in the series, you will enjoy this game a lot. However, if you played the first one, you will be a bit disappointed by the story. Gameplay is fun and engaging and graphics are outstanding. Steel book and art book look great too.

The game is overall fantastic in terms of gameplay, animation, and combat. I’m sure there’s more I’m forgetting. It’s amazing. I enjoyed it. My favorite character in the game is Ellie. Love her to death. Amazing character best acting by far! I wish we were able to play as her more. Looking forward to seeing where she goes if there’s a part 3 ;)

On its own it is a very great game, but many people were disappointed in the designers choice to take certain aspects in directions they did not agree with. Do not let this sway you into hating the game. It had a hard time living up the expectations set by the first game, but it is still a great game.

Music, performances, graphics, gameplay - 10/10. Story and writing - not a 10/10. This story is not for everybody. It is told in unconventional ways that are deliberately meant to challenge our way of thinking and views on perspective. Iffy dialogue and odd pacing keep it from being a perfect game.

Great game, awesome graphics, good gameplay, intense story

Game beats all expectations! Awesome graphics and sound.

Despite a lot of people's hate for this game, I can say I really enjoyed the story of this game. It's deep, it's emotional and it makes you think about perspectives in life. There are no heroes and villains, life is not black and white, everything is not absolute. This is game of the year and the game of the PS4 generation.

The game is great and best buy was offering it at a discount. The only reason why I gave it 4 stars is shipping. The game arrived in a bubble wrapped parcel which does not offer a lot of protection (Game case had some corner damage). Other than that everything is gtg.

It took me 30 hours and 37 minutes to beat this game. There was only 3 scenes in the game I did not like. The combat was fun and I will be re-playing this again to find all the collectibles and upgrade everyone. As of 6/26/20 it is my favorite game so far. The game released on Friday but Best Buy didn't deliver my game until Monday.

As a fan of the original who has played the original more than dozen times I can say this game lives up to the original. Very controversial to some people who didn’t like the approach they took but the story telling is amazing. Have played it multiple times and look forward to the ps5 version if that day ever comes.

Excellent game! Story was great! Gameplay was better

In the end it all comes down to personal preference. This game is a thrilling experience and I enjoyed every part of it. Having to deal with the infected and the 2 set of factions makes the world a unique setting. Each encounter is different, learning how to adapt to each encounter is rewarding. This game is worth playing.

Just finished it tonight after 32 hours and 44 minutes. I really enjoyed it but it can be difficult to see the characters we came to love in the first game being really put through the wringer in this one. The story is compelling and painful but that's why we love naughty dog who just keep creating these amazing games.

the game is alot of the same stuff repeated over and over. loot empty buildings and the occasional combat. story wasnt as good as the first, got tired of it so i havent even beaten it fully yet. good gameplay and graphics, just wish there was more story and things to do

Don’t listen to the naysayers and negative vampires. They’re jumping on the hate bandwagon because they spoiled the game for themselves and have nowhere else to target their aggression except for this masterpiece of a sequel. If you loved The Last of Us then you are going to love The Last of Us Part II much more.

I haven't finished the game but the review bombing is absurd these incels trashing the game because even their virtual waifu doesn't want them The graphics and physics in the game are unbelievable The story has been great so far also- very human in the face the world and seeing how society has kind of adapted

While I did not exactly love how the story went. This was a great game. From the way the story was written to the new mechanics in the game to the way the creators wanted you to feel about it. It really comes together as a great experience and I would highly recommend. Already working on a second run through.
