I’ve beaten the game and overall it’s a good game maybe not Game Of The Year (like Doom: Eternal) but overall it’s a great game. Sure a few of the choices Naughty Dog made in regards to past characters may not be well thought out at parts but overall it’s still as good if not better than the original game.

The Last of Us was one of the best written, and well paced games last generation. With an ending that ranks as one of the best ever. Video games or otherwise. I can’t speak for the ending of Part II, because I couldn’t even bring myself to finish the game. What was once an IP celebrated for its story telling, has become poorly written and poorly executed. Expectations as a result of misleading marketing, and the greatness of the previous game- has culminated into one of the most disappointing gaming experience I’ve ever had the misfortune of experiencing. There have been some gameplay improvements from the first, that makes combat feel smoother. But a lack of enemy variety and poor AI, makes the game become rather repetitive very quickly. Made all the worse by poor pacing. By the time I was 10 hours in, I was going into each level loud, just to be done with it and the story could continue. By the time I was 17 hours in, being forced to feel bad for things the game made me do, and attempting to humanize some of the most unlikeable characters to ever exist, I couldn’t do it anymore. I ejected the disc, I was done. There are some people upset that there are “agendas” being pushed. I’m not mad at different groups being represented in games. We need more of that, and anyone that’s unable to see that are trying to push their own biases. This game is going to be considered one of the most divisive games ever. But it needs to be for the right reasons. The misleading promotions. Sony and Naughty Dog bullying content creators and reviewers. The fact that this is one of the most poorly written and paced games there has ever been. If you have to buy it, buy it used or wait for price drops. And if we are going to hold Sony and Naughty Dog accountable for this disaster, let’s make sure it’s for the right reasons. Because outside of some gameplay tweaks and FANTASTIC accessibility options, not much else is right, or good, about The Last of Us Part II.

The gameplay in TLOU2 is a huge improvement from the first game. The narrative drives the game, but it is also intertwined with the gameplay in a way that has caused some controversy. I personally think it’s worth playing and building an opinion for yourself. Definitely a PS4 Greastest Hit in my book!

The game is awesome I really like how you can use different characters throughout the game. the game doesn't feel stiff like the first one even though I did really like the first one but controls were really stiff and the graphics on the new one is really good.

What can I say about this that won’t undervalue it’s importance... Amazing everything! If you’re a fan of the first game and appreciate the detail in character acting and development, gameplay, graphics and overall presentation then this installment will continue to impress. Love love love it!

Amazing graphics and detail saddled with some questionable story choices. Worth the journey but not as good as the 1st game. Gameplay was fun but some mechanics felt lacking. Side note: Can't fault Best Buy's delivery. Arrived on time and undamaged!

I loved playing the first game So it only makes sense to buy the sequel to Last of Us part ll. I haven’t really finished the game yet but I love the graphics and gameplay its a step up from last of us l. I am glad they fixed a few things that were just utterly annoying in last of us l.

Finished the game after 29hrs, the game has intense emotional scenes, talented voiceovers and mo-cap, superb graphics, excellent sound design, crazy boss fight, and good old TLOU combat with some new twists. I personally like the game. Steelbook and mini artbook are both great!

Naughty Dog nailed it again. Great story. A lot of the complaints I’ve seen online don’t seem to be coming from anyone who has been able to defend their points rationally. The struggled Ellie endures are incredible, and Abby’s storyline pulls you to her side just as convincingly.

If you played the first then the 2nd definitely doesn't disappoint. You will have a bias on the characters you play if you like the people on the first one, but it leaves you with questions before you find out the answers. I don't want to reveal too much, but a good game indeed.

Naughty Dig has made a game that was an emotional experience playing through. Depending on your deposition of how stories are told, some can say that they won’t agree with it, but overall the experience will definitely make you feel something.

Beautiful and amazing game. Character development is incredible and the gameplay is a ton of fun. I found myself debating whether I liked the first or second one better. Game length is appropriate for the story and it’s a well deserved game of the year for TLOU2

With single player narrative based games becoming a rarity in favor of loot box infested live service Skinner boxes it would be remiss of me to not recommend the game that is the gold standard in emotional story telling. Get it because there is nothing like it.

Top notch sequel to one of the best games of all time! This game takes a different path, but you really have to play it. Don't listen to all the negativity that you're seeing online, it's pretty disgusting. One of the best games ever made for the PS4.

This game was absolutely amazing. Not only did we finally get the follow up to the first game but we got an amazing emotionally charged actually panicked adventure as well. You must play this game at least once.

This game is an extremely dark, but worthy sequel to the already amazing first The Last of Us! The graphics are absolutely beautiful, the dialogue and voice acting is very well done, everything is perfect! If you enjoyed the first game, you won't be disappointed!

This game was amazing only thing i could hope 4 now is them to keep it going really hope this was'nt the last title we will see from naughtyDog. If u want an amazing adventure/Story & it to feel like ur playing a movie then buy & enjoy!

This game is a must play for any fans of the first TLOU. I like how you can play the events that happen simultaneously from each character's perspective. This gives better insight on the decisions made and you learn not to hate the antagonist so much...

The original didn't seem to need a sequel, but Naughty Dog has pulled it off again and created another masterpiece. This game has been particularly divisive, but if you enjoyed the original, you should give this game a chance and see it through to the end.

I love this game, despite all the back lash it’s been getting, I enjoyed this game, i went in with an open mind and thoroughly had a good time. Hats off to you Naughty Dog, don’t let all the hate get to you, this is your art and don’t let anyone change that.
