Emotional rollercoaster. Game will question morals

A masterful, challenging sequel. Don't read the reviews. Don't read the spoilers. Just play it for yourself. I believe this game will have a lasting legacy as one of the most influential games of our generation. Shipping didn't work out though. Not sure if it was Best Buy or UPS that pooped the bed, but it arrived late Monday night instead of the release day of the previous Friday. Maybe this was due to it being the special edition, who knows. But I won't trust 'delivered by the release date' orders in the future.

Top notch, highly recommend. Best ever, very good.

One of the best games of our entire gaming history

The ordering process was fine and the pickup was a breeze, but in between I was stressed and nervous. I paid for my order via paypal and had a confirmation e-mail that I'd paid, but my account showed no order and I even went to the store in person a week before release to make sure they had it on record. They couldn't find a record of it either, but assured me that if I had that receipt of payment, I *should* be alright. Thankfully it worked out fine, but I'll never order this way again, having no way to feel certain that my order was received and being fulfilled was extremely stressful.

The 3 stars isn't for anything Best Buy did (and I actually really like their steel book cases), I'm just...mad about the game not living up to the first LoU, I guess.

I preordered this game over a month ago and was excitedly awaiting its arrival today only to find out it will not be arriving. I have to wait till monday or even longer. The date says it may take till June 26th to receive it. That is absolutely unacceptable. I will never buy anything from bestbuy online ever again.

This review is about the horrible delivery service not the actual game ! The game is fantastic ! My problem is waiting 5 days after release to get it I would have appreciated it if best buy could state there would be delays. But there was no such a thing . I don't mind waiting if I know ahead of time. I scheduled my plans I'm a way so I could have played this game. I am never preordering games through best buy ever again

It was ok. Possibly rushed out on the production end. At times too much wondering around. Enemy’s far and few. I would recommend my friends to wait when it goes on sale.

My product was in perfect condition but I received it three days late. I was sent a message two days in a row rescheduling my delivery. This was really inconvenient.

Just like everyone else. Ordered weeks ago. Delayed. Was marked as shipped then no notice from BestBuy until the day it was supposed to be delivered. That being today. Thanks for ruining the most anticipated game of the year weekend. Massive dissatisfaction and disappointment.

Gameplay: 8/10 Graphics: 10/10 Character Animation: 10/10 ... Dialogue Between Characters: Belongs in a CW show. Story: "Subverts expectations" like the The Last Jedi. Characters you loved get the "Luke Skywalker treatment." I've attempted to leave an in-depth review multiple times. It never posts. I'm tired of typing. So here it is. The condensed version.

I ordered The Last of Us Part 2 special edition and the item was shipped in a bubble mailer with no padding or protection whatsoever. When I opened the item the sleeve was bent and all corners were damaged. As a collector, I keep my items in excellent condition and would expect much better packaging. It looked like I ordered a used copy from Craigslist.

How could a studio like Naughty Dog take such a great game like The Last of Us and Make a Part 2 and Screw up so bad... Do yourself a favor and dont waste your time on this game.. The game looks and plays beautifully... 10/10... The story and dialog are trash 0/10... If you loved the first one stay away!!

I'm sure the game will be great, but this will be the last time I preorder from best buy. One of the biggest launches of the year and they managed to screw up deliveries. Much disappointment.

Great stand alone game but not a continuation of the the last of us. Enjoyed playing ok story line.

In my opinion, this game had some great moments, but were unfortunately overshadowed by bad story decisions. Fans of the first game may be disappointed by the direction it takes, and the treatment of the characters. While this game’s story wasn’t a bad one, it should have been much better given that it was the sequel to one of the best games ever made.
