I pre-ordered the special edition on May 30. On delivery day I got an email saying it was going to be delayed until possibly June 26. If not available by then they stated then they will cancel it. REALLY DISAPPOINTED!

this is pure crap compared to its predecessor. Such a joke to have the game be different.

It did not live up to the original. You don't even get to play as Ellie for half the game.

Loved the first one, but man oh man can't get past the issues in this one. All of which are due to the story and how it's told. The performances and tech are amazing though. Naughty Dog is the best in the business when it comes to facial animations. I just want a little more from my Blockbuster Story Driven Tentpole

Great controls, great art, terribly preachy story about how revenge is bad but makes you go around killing everything because they need to show you how revenge is bad. If I wanted golf I'd have just gone and played "What the Golf?"

A lot of action in a zombie filled world, but such a sad ending.

If you value the style and realism of the first game. don’t buy this. god awful writing and character development. it bases the story on the basic philosophy of eye for an eye will make us all blind. the boring characters and their motivation are just laughable. wait for a sale.

I’ve waited 5 years for this game to come out only to be disappointed by what the writers have done to the story. They took a completely different turn, trashed all the values from the first one, and added political issues (which I didn’t mind at first until I realized that the writers slowly force issues on you). This game broke my heart, spat on the reputation of the whole franchise, and did not do the first one any justice at all. However, the graphics are amazing. Gameplay has indeed leveled up compared to the first one.

The review is not for the game. I haven't been able to play the game, because my order got to me 3 days late and the product was super damaged. The steelbook was bended and the artbook had some scratches. I tried to call the day I received the game, but I could not find any help. I went the very next day to one of the stores and they could not help me, they said they did not have any more, I asked for a refund and did get it. I literally went to the nearest gamestop and bought the Special edition without any problem. I will not pre-order anything at Best Buy for now on, and I will cancel my Ghost of Tsushima. I was really angry and disappointed.

This game was very difficult to review. I think the story is just flawed, it has all the technical achievements but it's heavy handed story telling was no where near the brilliance of the first game. I regret the purchase.

Pre-ordered the game a month in advance. Order got delayed twice, went out for delivery twice, and Best Buy became entirely silent during the whole issue. I've been supporting and buying from Best Buy for years now, but this is the last straw when it comes to pre-ordering from them. They never seem to learn. Wish for once they would offer some sort of compensation for the MANY buyers they failed and lied too. Then maybe, we could see a maturing nature in this company for once.

If you enjoyed the story of the first game and twists and emotions. I would skip this second game especially if you enjoyed a particular character. Ellie is good but oh man the story ramps up and then, blah.

I loved the first game story and characters. This game is technically a very beautiful game ... but I wish I had not played it. I stayed away from spoilers ... but I should have listened when my friends tried to warn me. I can’t recommend it if you felt like I did about the first game. I am so ... “disappointed” isn’t even a strong enough word. I feel “angry”, like it was done on purpose to make me sorry I bought and played the game?

It was advertised that released day delivery but NO! Tracking info doesn't update at all which is really disappointing. I will never preorder with bestbuy again...

The product was fine and was delivered fine. But the promise of the delivery dates was completely overexargerated. I will think twice before I get something delivered from best buy.
