    Graphics are incredible, but that's about it. Gameplay doesn't change much from the original. The "revenge is bad" story has been told countless times. Half the game, for twelve hours you are forced to play as a character you won't like doing things unrelated to the main plot of the game. Unsatisfying, cliffhanger ending setting up a sequel with characters that I don't like or care about.

    As a showcase title this game is stunning all around. Without going into specifics there were some choices in the narrative and pacing that I didn't agree with. I'll just say if you're expecting similar storytelling from the first then don't and temper your expectations. Played through it once on the Pro and will run through it again now that the PS5 has a performance patch. After that I doubt I'll play through it again.
