Absolutely incredible. Just as good as the first one, but almost better. The story and gameplay are leagues above most other AAA games. So if that churns your butter break out the toast.

I bought the game even tho I knew about the leaks beforehand. The story is good so far, the combat is excellent and the graphics are superior. I would recommend this to anyone who likes post apocalyptic scenarios.

Literal game of this console generation. It's a shame people have review bombed this game. I really hope this doesn't deter people from experiencing this masterpiece from Naughty Dog for themselves. Never has a game made me feel nearly every emotion. Happy, sad, angry, scared, anxious, surprised, etc. I can see the divisiveness but please try to just experience everything that's happening and it really gets you thinking and sparks fantastic discussion, as long as is it respectful and people leave their hate out of it. Obviously this game must be played after part I or it won't have nearly the same effect. The more recently you played part I the better. Do be aware though, this game is not family friendly or for the faint of heart.

Game plays a lot like the first one and the story is good, but darker. Twice as long as the first game, but no multiplayer. That's the one negative for me. If there was multiplayer I would sign up for PS+ again.

One of the best game in years. The story alone will have you in tears. And the gameplay is even better than part 1.

I love this game. Breathtaking settings, fast-paced encounters, incredibly disturbing monsters, and although extremely conflicting, booooombbb storytelling, what else do you need, epic af 10/10

This game is an absolute masterpiece. The visuals are stunning, the story is great, and gameplay is refined and satisfying. An absolute must play, although you should play the first game to understand the story.

After beating this game, it was hard to tell which one of the 2 are better. The graphics, storytelling, and game play are all absolutely AMAZING. Absolutely one of the best games I've played in a very long time.

Blew away expectations compared to the first one. Gameplay is a vast improvement and the story will have you playing until the very last cutscene. Highly recommend just for gameplay alone.

This game is awesome, gets better once you reach to Seattle... Though it was disappointing to see a character go but I won't judge and see what happens later. It does make me want to get revenge on who's responsible for that!! So far, this game is mainly a gal's point of view whereas the first was guy's point of view. If you are a bit sexist, you may not like this game but hey there are some lesbian moments so you may like it if you were a guy!! Haha the violence is brutal and may not be for the faint of heart but it's realistic as it is a post apocalyptic world, can't expect things to be good and dandy. I'm playing this on my PS4 Pro and looks superb on my 4K TV. The audio is top notch. This game deserves my perfect 5 score.

Last of Us 2 really flexes the PS4’s technical capabilities. It’s definitely on of the games I’d use to show off the hardware. The gameplay is expanded upon from the previous game and your character has many new maneuvers to be extra stealthy in a building full of undead shroom people. It’s almost like playing a Metal Gear Solid game because of the new gameplay mechanics. The maps are linear but more open with many optional areas to explore compared to Part One which pushed you on a narrower path. The sound effects are really loud and realistic. The voice acting is also top quality. The story is made to make you uncomfortable and maybe even miserable, so if you can’t handle your emotions well, this ain’t the game for you.

The game was an overall great gameplay. The story had me invested in the game as well. The story starts off aggressive which everyone has a huge problem with. Also has explicit nude content and a lot of lynching on the game, so if you’re planning on getting this for a kid. I would consider that.

I'll admit I got caught up in the backlash against this game surrounding the leak & eventual release. So just shrugged it off until now. Picked it up at the lower price now & can't say I regret it. I appreciated how all the settings are adaptable on the fly to augment the gameplay & have used some of them. The resource sonar, slow-motion aiming, and the different difficulty sliders. It is just impressive how adaptable / accessible it is. All around everything feels very refined. Out of all the strengths though, some of the story beats contribute less to the overall good experience. I get the angle of dissatisfaction with it, but it doesn't hit nearly as bad as proclaimed.

This has to be the only game that has made me tear up. The story line is amazing. The gameplay is great as well. I have never jumped so much. The horror and anxiety level of this game is out of this world.

The last of us is my favorite game and the 2nd did not disappoint! The story was amazing! Game mechanics, graphics and sound were fantastic! I really love the improved mechanics from the first!

Despite critical reviews, it really does live up to the status of its predecessor. Can be pretty challenging at times, but this game will really draw you in with combat and the storyline.

Firstly, curbside pickup was a breeze! Regarding the game, the gameplay was amazing and beautiful. The storyline kept you interested the whole time and kept you on your toes. My favorite PlayStation game!

Played part 1 years ago and loved it and had intended to play part 2 but never had a PS4. Nabbed a PS5 and then saw this on sale for $10 so I figured now was the time but since it had been so long I actually ended up playing part 1 for the PS5 before starting it. I was initially a bit disapointed in some aspects of the gameplay but I ended up enjoying it as much as the first game. Purchesed this only with in store pick up and I was a bit disapointed that it took a week to be ready for pickup.
