Despite the review bombers jumping all over this game due to fright, it is an amazing game. Naughty Dog does it again. Beautiful graphics. Fascinating characters. Great story of revenge. I love this game!

Anything bad you heard about this games story is a complete farce! You will NEVER please everyone! If you enjoyed the original this is a must play for any Sony Pony on the fence!

So far 18 hours in. I’m sold. Graphics are right up there with God of War. That is to say amazing. It has the same gameplay as TLOU 1. With some added elements. I was able to stay away from the leaks so it’s been new to me. I have to say I can see why people are getting upset over story elements here. But you have to figure it’s a fairly common thing to do in a sequel. I think they should have stuck to the main character but that’s my opinion. I think it dilutes the story switching like it does to someone you know nothing about. Nor really care to. I’ll close by saying it’s very graphic. Like horror movie torture graphic. Think Saw or Hostel. That all being said I’m in. Enjoying it. Review bombers be darned.

The details in the graphics is amazing. The AI is smart and unpredictable. The story is great. This game exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend it to anybody who loves gaming and great stories.

This is an amazing sequel to the first game. You do not have to have played the first game to enjoy this one, but it is nice to have the backstory. Graphics are beautiful, story is very intense.

Not a spoiler but it’s a great story. Improve game play from the first. Still really like part one but this one just improves on the action gameplay graphics and a continuation of a fantastic story!

This game is super awesome, graphics and gameplay are top notch! i would recommend it to anybody who likes this type of story related games, But only to people who have not played the first one Because if you have, then the story will be very uncool for you since they made a lot of bad decisions story wise (which i wont spoil) just to try to be like “the walking dead” or maybe just to try to have a unpredictable story.. if you have not played the first one you’ll be fine and probably love the story since you’ll meet old and new characters for the first time... but for people who played the first one and got attached to the old characters like me, will feel like “WTF?!” The whole way because of it’s story. Either way i am a unbiased person and all though the story just was not for me i know that if i have not played the first game, i would have loved this game 100% so all i can say is.. give it a try right now if you have not played the first one, and if you have, then wait for a sale!

Very deep and melancholy. You should play "Last of Us" first to get the full story but it is not necessary. Great graphics and it is compatible with PS5...much faster downloading time.

This game plays well. The character development is awesome and the storyline will keep you playing

DONE! An extremely frustrating game but...in a GOOD way. The LoU2 turned out to be very little of what I was expecting it to be, which became a good thing after a day of letting everything sink in. After about1/2 way through, for me themes got tougher and actions harder which had me thinking “I don’t want to do this” or "why is this thing going in this direction" but once I allowed myself to just "play" things through (and removing the desire for wanting this to be just like the original LoU experience), I became more understanding to the overall arch of the game and it all made sense. To me, the last 4-5 hours of the game are extremely tough but I came away understanding this may have been the position the developers wanted us as players to be in...and for me, it worked. I think gamers will either appreciate the developer's direction and outcome OR...could come away upset because maybe they were expecting to re-live the same feeling and experience they had playing the original LoU.

Don’t buy in to the hype. This is a well thought out journey. This is exactly what you would expect from Naughty Dog. Fun, Interesting, Intense, and Gorgeous. I whole heartily recommend this game. A+.

It's hard to think about where to begin with this. If you loved the first one, you'll like this game too, perhaps not as much. That's not indicative of how masterfully developed this is, though. It captures everything to love about the first game, and it offers the same intensity of immersing you into the game and the story, that I frequently had to take breaks after completing levels because of how stressed I was. The story felt heavy during certain segments too, and even though it's only a video game, this game can easily get you to empathize with characters you never thought you would like. So very much I appreciated the creative storytelling devices this game implemented. Highly recommended.

The options for combat/stealth is much better in this sequel. However, the bold story choices may turn some people off. Personally, I loved the story; the set pieces were some of Naughty Dog's Best.

Great game I like the way they draw you in to the game with the story. You think it’s one thing and turns out it’s another. Great graphics and you can go back and play with cheats just for fun

This game definitely put a lot of time in development and it was well worth it. Story could be made into a movie and worth the watch and the game play is excellent.

Fantastic Game! Beautiful graphics and a crazy story too! Absolutely had fun (and frustrations sometimes) with this game and looking forward to the next one... whenever that happens.

The leaks were wrong. Ignore the haters. This game is tense and wildly engaging. A dark, emotional, and violent story about revenge and hate and offers new perspectives not seen from this franchise.
