Terrible game

If you never played the first game, you can probably pick this up and enjoy it. Without going into spoiler territory, the game makes choices and has the player do things that are “edgy” and “pushing the limits” but not in a good way. The overall message was lacking any credibility at all and it felt like Eli’s character development went out the window. I played the entire game and halfway through I got so bored that the only reason I wanted to finish it was to say I beat it. Overall it’s a 5/10 and that’s just because it has some solid gameplay mechanics and is overall a gorgeous looking game.

Absolutely Terrible Story. If you wanted more story from the first game. DO NOT PLAY THIS GAME. It will ruin EVERYTHING you loved about the first game.

Towards the end it almost felt like I was begging for the game to get done and complete. Trying to get a hundred different things into a game is kind of hard

The controls, inventory, fights, etc is very similar to The Last of Us Part 1. The only problem with this game is how it is written, but the game is not trash or awful. I recommend buying this game on a sale.
