Great follow-up to TLOU. Amazing graphics, sound, gameplay, and story make this one of the best games on the PS4. Emotionally brutal at times, but highly recommended.

I didn’t pay attention to any of the horrid reviews and I’m glad I didn’t! The story sucked me in and I played through the entire game in three sessions! Spent about 27 hours to beat the main campaign. Would recommend if your liking to play something dark and brooding.

At first I felt annoyed playing but after 3 hours into to game things start to pick up the story opens up more and gameplay gets addictive HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS GAME

The last of us is fun for hours. You can’t get bored of it

I loved this game. It was fun, intense, and had a story I was insanely latched onto. The gameplay followed suit from the first game,but improved on it in every single way. Loved it!

So many good things to talk about, but I don't want to spoil YOUR fun. Let me say that opening those safes got more fun in this game. If you like exploring then you will enjoy this game. They have many nice little secret spaces that you can find and also just ignore if you are not into that. Crafting is better. Upgrading weapons is better. You get to ride a horse sometimes! You can now dodge an attack! I have already felt very scared many times. Being hunted is not for the weak of heart! Some parts of the game feel repetitive, but there are some refreshingly different moments too. I am definitely seeing how Naughty Dog likes to tell a story.

This game deserves all the praise and the 300+ Game of the Year awards it has gathered. It brings an excellent evolution of gameplay mechanics and systems. Graphics are a highlight, and performance is amazing even on a base PS4. While I didn’t agree with some of the story beats, the truth is that the writing and character development are nothing short of monumental. You feel the camaraderie, pain and emotions that characters have between each other. Just like the first game, the journey you take through this brutal post-apocalyptic landscape stays with you long after you’ve rolled the credits.

Incredibly strong story along with beautiful graphics and immersive gameplay had me lost for hours. And with over 40hrs of gameplay I'd say it's definitely worth the money.

Where to begin with this game, it was an emotional roller coaster ride while playing. You could feel every character sorrow and sadness. That was one of the aspect of the game that I enjoyed. It got me invested in the characters. This game is not for the faint of heart. It is very violent, with that being said the graphics and voice acting is on point. The gameplay and mechanics are fluid. I also enjoy the stealth in this game where you can sneak up behind enemies and take them out rather than going full-blown commando. If you are looking for a game and about 25-30 hours to kill and this game is for you.

On of the best I have ever played. The story is great. It's like playing a movie. You really feel for the characters. Very violent though. Definitely not for kids or the squeamish.

The graphics on this game are amazing even better than the first game!! So real and the sound is awesome! A little harder than the first game for sure. I hope they make a part 3!

It’s hard to see people making objective opinions on a piece of media that hasn’t fully been absorbed. I held off stark criticism until I played the game, and while I have my own objections to how the narrative played out, I can’t deny that in the moment I thoroughly enjoyed this game, and did not let my respectful disagreements with the story effect how much I liked this game. Gameplay is thoroughly enhanced from the previous game, although repetitiveness can rear it’s head toward the end of the game. Otherwise this was a fantastic game that conjured emotions by the time I was finished, and that’s all you can ask for in a story driven game.

Excellent game with a great story and stunning visuals . Do not listen to the poor reviews of this game and make your own decision .

Still worthy and undisputed of earning that GOTY, the new update (Remastered for PS5) looks amazing, I jumped back in to get another platinum run which requires almost 2 playthroughs, it was worth every step of the way. Can’t wait to see what TLOU3 brings? Until then, this is a masterpiece you need in your possession.

You’ll read many reviews complaining about various aspects of the game. The honest truth is that no game will ever live up to the first game in terms of storyline. It was probably one of the best games ever made. However, without spoiling the plot I will say that the storyline is controversial but anticipated. I would also say that there is a more progressive set of primary characters, so if that offends you, this isn’t the game for you. The gameplay has been improved upon and is fantastic. The graphics and cinematography is wonderful, and I love the attention to detail by Naughty Dog and Neil Druckman. Overall, I’d give it a 9.5/10.

I played the first one and absolutely loved it. The second one definitely lives up to the hype. It’s an amazing story and a must play if you have played the first one!

Let me say that this is isn't the sequel we wanted. It does things that clearly will disappoint many fans, as it already has. That being said, the risks it takes are commendable. It takes many leaps and while not all of them land, it's refreshing to see a sequel that actually attempts anything new rather than one that plays it safe. TLOU Part 2 has story issues for sure, but I find it to be a consistently captivating narrative regardless. Story aside, the gameplay here is extremely well polished. This is survival horror at it's best. I have never played a game that felt so grounded, and as cliche as it sounds, real. It is very satisfying to actually just go through fully dive into. It's an overall brutal experience, one I have yet to see on an equal scale. The story may not work for you as it did me, but the gameplay and presentation as a whole, more than deserve praise and recognition.
