I played this directly following the first game. While the gameplay, graphics, and world design was still very good, there were many parts of the story I felt that dragged way too much. Without spoiling anything, there was literally half the game I had a tough time making it through. In comparison, there were many nights playing part 1 that I couldn’t put the controller down, and I finished the game quickly. This took me over a month to finish because the story didn’t keep my interest.

Great game. Great story and graphics, just like the 1 st game.

If you have at all and had to play one game, play this one. It’s brilliant in story telling and graphic design. You’ll be compelled to want a sequel to the storyline.

An ambitious, magnificient achievement in video gameplay that must be be considered in-whole with Last of Us I. This game requires a high-level of emotional maturity, perspective, and introspection. Quick tip: Scavenging for additional resources and finding, then reading, the dozens of notes left behind by the 'silent' survivors will be the only way to get the complete picture of each character's emotional state (and some hints as well). And finally, to the parent questionning if this game is appropriate for their child; this game has an 'MA' rating for a reason. Extreme violence and soft core sex.

Loved the first game and love the second game. I know the game has been getting a LOT of flak because of some of the story choices, but we don't make the game. Naughty Dog and Neil Druckmann create this game and they unfold it how they see fit. Just because some of the choices in the story upset us, doe NOT make this a bad game. I won't go into spoilers but I played and loved every single second of this game. I felt so much emotion and I cannot wait to play it again.

So wow. I never expected to see a review under 9 after starting this one. I have stopped reading reviews before game releases because they can get a person to not try a game. I also learned that the news is pretty warped and you should form your own opinions. Bottom line...one of the greatest game releases of all time. Super high quality in both technical and acting. Grabbed my heart from start to finish. And hey..that is all that matters..I was floored for over 30 hours. To complain would be like eating a perfect steak and saying..."Hey i really didn't like that." Well then why did you eat the whole steak??

I loved the original and the sequel is definitely worth it. I’m not saying it’s GOTY, but the controls, graphics, and playability were top notch. I have to be honest, the story is lacking. I understand that you don’t want political agendas forced into video games. Sadly we’re at a point in our history where inevitably it’s seeping into every aspect of our lives. I’m not saying it’s right or wrong, but it’s the sign of our times. Gaming is supposed to be an escape and I can see how it can turn some people away. I just say, sit back, relax, and give this game a chance.

My title says it all. I bought a PlayStation just to play this game. I would play the first one before the 2nd. You will become so attached to the characters. It lakes a huge difference for the 2nd game by playing 1 first. And The last of us 1 is in top 10 of all time easy. Just amazing games. Thwre is one part that could have been left out sibce it didnt do anythibg to the stoey line, other than that. Great game. 10/10.

This is one of the most beautiful and complicated games ever made. It's scary as hell at times, too. And the music is so beautiful. The graphics are unreal. The combat and game play are improved. Any one who says they don't like it didn't know what they were buying, or is afraid of the topics raised in this very real, very modern game.

Good game with good graphics and history and weapons

I absolutely love this game. I know many were upset with certain characters death. But its an apocalyptic game and anythig can happen. All the characters make you dare for them or hate them. They all truly show their emotion. The graphics are one of the best! Playing on the Lg Oled on a PS5 is an amaizng look and best combinations

The gameplay mechanics and everything is an evolution over the first game. The story is more complicated, and isn't as consistent as the first game, but still a very strong story that made me feel a lot of emotions.

Every aspect of the game was amazing, probably the most fun stealth I've ever played. The story is super intense and manages to invoke every emotion possible and really makes you question everything you're doing. I can't think of a single thing I didn't like about this game and it's probably my favorite Playstation game in general, the attention to detail is out of this world and the ending was just perfect in my opinion.

I was really skeptical after the leaks, and a little disappointed that the game wouldn't be what I thought it would based off the trailer. But I bought it for myself and am blown away by the graphics. The soundtrack is great. And I ended up liking certain characters I thought I'd hate. Maybe it's not for everyone, but you won't know until you try it for yourself. Don't base your opinion on what everyone else is saying.

Incredible game. The graphics are amazing. The gameplay is fun. And the story is unlike anything I have ever experienced before. Unlike most stories were I am simply reacting to what I see on screen this game makes me actually feel the same emotions the characters are going through. It will challenge you. It will make you feel so many different conflicting emotions but in the end it's all worth it.

I just finished playing this game and to be completely honest the gameplay is very similar to the first one. And the story is not as great. As far as killing enemies and infected goes, and running around and scavenging items, it’s basically identical to the first game. I just did not enjoy the story as well as I felt that the ending could have been different. Emotional roller coaster and it leaves you feeling dreadful when you’re done.

What I don't understand is how someone can rate a game based of what the store did on shipping delays. Don't give the game a 1 star because of shipping delays. Also who buys hard copies these days. you have to still download the game so why not just buy digital in the first place. The game is fantastic and the graphics are amazing.

Without a doubt, this will be one of the best looking games you'll play on Playstation 4. The game itself is nearly flawless – from graphics, gameplay, audio, etc. Lots of attention to detail. However, this game is hindered by too much emphasis on political/controversial topics. C'mon, Naughty Dog! You're better than this. These topics almost ruin the story altogether. Regardless, I think it was too ambitious to outperform the original game.

Took me a couple tried but it is now one of the best games ive ever played. The story is very dark and the atmosphere is insane which just raises the gameplay. If you loved the first game and wanted more last of us this is a treat!
