Just read the other reviews that are bad and you know all you need. This is a "woke" game that panders to a audience for no reason. If the storyline made sense and had respect to the characters we all came to love in the first game. I would have been on board. Not homophobic, just love Joel,Ellie. They ripped out any love you had for Ellie all while painting a new character you give 2 poops for as the brooding hero with a unrealistic body and a lust for killing and revenge. This game paints revenge bad if your Ellie and condones it for she hulk. Dont support this game or for that matter Neil Druckman and Naughty Dog for ruining their own franchise all while calling those that hated the story as homophobic. If you have no investment to the original game and care less for the story,just want to kill lots of persons, infected and dogs. Go for it,the graphics are amazing and the brutal killing is fun. Ghost of Toushima was twice as fun and satisfying. Support Sucker Punch not a Drunkman Naughty puppie.

Almost triple the length of the first game and an absolute slog to play. More than half the game is spent as the villain to the chagrin of all who play. Gratuitously violent with almost no point. The game play became more restrictive and less interesting. It didn't matter to me that there were gay/trans characters and I'm upset that the game was so much worse than the first one. We were a half an hour from finishing it and just couldn't do it. Also included a very strange and unnecessary sex scene. This game became less fun and engrossing with every passing moment.

Game is a continuation of first one so game play is similar. Story could have been much better. Found the ending extremely disappointing.

Game forces you to play two characters, Ellie, an Abby. Ellie is my favorite! Almost 70% of the game is in low light . Its a very depressing game with lot of extreme violence. Installing this game took about 90 gbs of hard space on my ps5! If you not into dark and gory environments then this game isnt for you. Ill pass .. yes i finished it but i did delete from my console and going to sell it, its not a game i want to keep or play again!

Came early and in excellent condition. Loved playing the game and will continue to pour more hours into it for achievements!

JK JK JK I enjoyed it, yes the story could've been better but it was a fun ride. The "crafting" in this game is kinda weak and having to scavenge for everything gets kinda old, but its a fun game!

Above average gameplay. Story is probably written by 12-year-olds who think they are deep while the characters contradict themselves constantly. Very poor pacing and the whole game feels a giant waste of time instead of a cool adventure as the other Naughty Dog games.

Lots of people have offered their comments. My son and I have a running debate on the game which he thought was profound in some way. Cliff notes: - So much of this game is not even a game but a story. The story is basically two teenage girls yelling "I hate you", "I hate you more" for 40 hours. The story is nonsensical and unrealistic. - They successfully ruined one sympathetic character from the first game and killed off the other. Virtually every other character in the game is not remotely compelling (except maybe Manny and Yara. - Some people will hate the game because of the LGBTQ stuff. I don't care. I just think it was forced by developers looking for SJW props. - My son tells me he loved the ethical challenges in the game. The problem is there were NO ethical challenges in the game. You're forced to go along one linear, predetermined course regardless of what you would prefer or what you believe Ellie or Abby might have done. There are no dilemmas. You're just there for the ride. - Yes, it is pretty to look at and the voice talent is solid. It's also a long game so you're not getting ripped off there. - My big takeaway is that if I get into a death vendetta with a commando I'm likely to lose some fingers.

GOT MY PRE ORDER IN AND SO EXCITED! CAN ALWAYS COUNT ON BB BEING ON TIME!

Much like everyone else, i picked this up with the desire to complete the story after beating the first TLoU. I was beyond disappointment with the story, the game play elements are good but not much different from the first, a bit more sharpened and fine tuned, but the story? I don't understand why the director/writer went in this direction. If you must experience TLoU, just get the remaster of the 1st and play it to your hearts desire. The characters make 0 sense, especially after all the development and growth they had in the 1st game. If you read the leaks, then yes, they were true, but it gets even worse than that. I sincerely hope that this disheveled mess of a "story" gets treated as a cordycept fever dream that Ellie or Joel have right after the first game. In short, did you enjoy the gameplay of the first? This game improves on it. Did you enjoy the story of the first? Don't get this game, let THAT be how the story ends.
