A great story mode only single player game. Beautiful visuals and a riveting story. I would recommend playing the first game to make the most of this game.

I was very skeptical on buying this game but I’m really glad I bought it. The story is compelling, and the graphics are amazing.

There have been vast improvements to this game since the original. The AI with the enemies is very convincing. I was blown away when one of the enemies dropped her weapon after being shot at and began trying to reason with me for several minutes before she eventually drew another gun from a hidden location on her body. Even more realistic is when you take your weapons into the weapons bench for upgrades, you see Ellie field stripping the weapons and adding parts like someone would actually do in real life. Once you start playing this game, you will definitely be hooked!

Excellent game play that meets Naughty Dog's reputation for good game play and a cinematic experience. The plot of the game's plot was leaked way back before it released and it got some flak, but the game is honestly a blast. It's still fun to play in a post-apocalyptical world and the visuals and music really set the mood. I'm looking forward to seeing if they decide to adapt this Part 2 for HBO as well.

The Last of Us packs an emotional punch if you’re a fan of the characters from the first game. The introduction of other strong females was a welcomed departure from the typical dude with a gun game. The storylines are on par quality wise with the 1st game. The only part I disliked, was when it was over ( end of game), even my wife watches me play virtually the entire game becoming vested with the characters. Do not let the introduction of gay characters that everyone is griping about deter you. Play it for yourself! This is coming from a heterosexual normal American dude.

Best graphics in a game ever. Story is great so far....only about an hour into the game though. Hope it lives up to the hype and as good as the first one!

I enjoyed my time with this game. I have to say the gameplay is brutal. Ellie is not messing around!!! Graphics, environment and performance are all great. My only complaint is that character development and attachment was not as good as the first but then again it is a cliche revenge story. I guess i miss the father/daughter emotional relationship Ellie and Joel had in the first. The lesbian curiosity of Ellie was not really convincing enough to me. It felt like it was put in the story just to be there. I didn’t mind that they went that direction if they would have made it seem believable by developing the relationship. It just didn’t flow for me which is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. The story is good enough but the realism of the gameplay and environment is where it shines.

My main console will always be Xbox. However, played last of us when got ps3 on black Friday TV purchase. Loved it. So been waiting for this game to I finally come out. Purchased used ps4 and got this game on release. Definitely does not disappoint. I put on my headset and can actually immerse myself as Ellie. Fantastic cut scenes that don't take away from game play. The sounds, the sites, and areas to explore are fantastic. The slow times of the game can be enjoyed just as much as the adrenaline pumping parts. Glad I purchased and can't wait to get back to it. 5 out of 5!

I personally love everything about this game- the voice acting, the motion capture, the narrative structure, the character development, the themes it explores, and ( what I consider most important in reviewing most games ) the actual gameplay. However at the same time I can understand that it won’t be for everyone- in this case, I can see this not being great for players who dislike character studies and the messages games present taking some effort to unpack and process. I really hope most people can enjoy this like I did! In my personal opinion, not a game to be missed.

This game is a must for any gamer. Story is one of the best to date. And gameplay keeps you on the edge. Definitely a step up from the 1st game.

I'm about half way through (I think) - so far the game has been well worth the money! It's a long game... but, the story and the graphics are incredible!

This game is a masterclass in narrative craft. It's not perfect but as near as I've ever seen in a game. The game is also a stunning technical achievement from the visuals to audio (if you have gaming headphones USE THEM TO PLAY THIS GAME) to physics. However, if you don't like video game gore/violence or jump scares, this is definitely not the game for you. In sum, don't be dissuaded by the combination of philistines, homophobes, and mysoginists running around the internet giving this game a deeply undeserved zero rating. Play it for yourself and make up your own mind.

So far what I’ve played it’s as good if not better than the original Gameplay is as good with new things to do and the story is epic. Highly recommended

The graphics are great, but the story is even better. It blew the first one out of the water. Huge fan of this game. Also, representation is important.

I enjoyed the game, story is a rollercoaster ride and unexpected things happen but its still one of the best games I've played. Highly recommend!

Excellent game. Comes with PS5 upgrades of 60fps! One of the MUST PLAYs of Playstation. The story, music, the direction is perfect.

Truly stunning gameplay and story. Wow is all I can say. They took a classic and made it better in every way. Hope they make another. Highly recommended.
