Absolutely loved this game, takes some great risks with the story but they all worked for me. One if the best games I've played in years.

I’ve been waiting for a long time for this game to come out and it was worth it. I liked the story and the action was great. Fun game.

Thought the game was pretty good story and gameplay wise. Knew about the spoiler ahead of time but still enjoyed the story regardless. Not sure what all the hate is about but I guess to each his own.

The first game was so good and the story drew me in. If you enjoyed the last of us, this sequel Takes it to the next level.

This is a continuation of a great story. With great game play that is improved over first one.

A great game, especially regarding the story aspects. My primarily complaint, specifically regarding the PS4 edition, is optimization. This game does suffer from poor performance, even on Pro editions. That is mostly to be expected, of course, but regardless I feel the need to make it clear that this will not run perfectly

If I could give a 4.5/5, I would. This is one of the most gorgeous games ever made, despite it's ugly world. It has a parallel narrative that makes you look at your protagonists and question who they have become, or more importantly, what this cruel post-apocalyptic world has turned them into. It's a bit too long for how oppressive it is, but it's definitely an experience I wouldn't recommend any gamer miss, Ignore the controversy based on leaks (some of which were way off anyway). Give it a chance and see for yourself.

Just as good as the first one. I have been waiting to get this game and I am glad I was able to get it for a cheaper price too.

Alot of hate but I just ran through it a second time and man, the story just rocked as hard as it did the first time. Can't wait for 3.

pros - generation defining graphics - state of the art animations - tremendous focus on minute details - combat is much more fluid and varied than the first game - many new great characters - the world of the last of us is as atmospherically oppressive as ever cons - looting can seem like a chore and break the pace of the game a bit -boss battles - one or two story sections too many -because the graphics and animations are so lifelike, it becomes more noticeable the instances where they aren't 9.5/10

This game honestly did not live up to the hype and I can understand why. It is a really gorgeous game with better gameplay than the first game, but the story was just average to subpar and not that interesting. You can tell why Naughty Dog made those choices and they're valid, but they are not the story we wanted. Naughty Dog did a fantastic job making this game uncomfortable BUT enjoyable at the same time. I cannot say the same about any other game. All in all, I am glad I bought this game, but only for gameplay. It is honestly worth a try because if you just watch gameplays and know what happens, it is VERY different than when you play the game. So yes, I recommend it. However, don't expect the story to be appealing.

The gameplay it’s more polished than the first one. The story is very surprising and how makes you dive in their world. Mind blowing.

Great game, great graphics, and a storyline you have to truly understand to enjoy the game. A sad but meaningful ending to the series.

10 hours in, one of the best games I've played in many years. Dark, brutal, touching, real. Give it a play, you won't be disappointed.

Excellent game. Continues the story of the first game in surprising ways. Expands the mechanics just enough and ramps up the tension.
