As if the first game wasn't a masterpiece, Part II will leave you torn morally. Humanity isn't so one sided after all and you'll come to realize this when you play through this. Buckle up, it's going to be a bumpy ride!

Graphics are amazing and the game's soundtrack is beautiful. I'm not sure why there are so many negative reviews. I absolutely loved the first game and I am loving this game too. I am 7 hours into the game currently. Yes, this game has a lot of violence. That's why it's rated M. Not sure why people are surprised about the violence...haven't you guys played the first game?

This game is controversial, but it shouldn't be. Its as if you are playing a horror movie. It's a gruesome, cruel, gritty horror movie. If you're into that kind of stuff-- couldn't recommend it more.

I’ve been waiting years for a sequel, and this does not cut it. Visually and mechanically the game is flawless. But the story is garbage. Making characters do things they wouldn’t do in the last game to push forward a lame story line, metaphorically and literally spitting on what the last one built up, it’s insulting. It got hate because it deserved it, and no old character would have changed they way they did without lazy writing. And it makes us try to sympathize with a poorly written new character, and play as her at the halfway point in the game. Poor structuring and writing makes that impossible. Up until that point I was actually kind of enjoying the game, then my drive to keep playing kept going down once it switched from Ellie to the new girl. That part was a drag. And the director has the nerve to not see anything he did wrong and blame the fans. When a Part III is made, and trust me they’ll make that, the only chance it has of being good is to learn from the mistakes of this game. The whole point of the game seems to be to make the player miserable. If I wanted that, I’d ask for more hours at work. I don’t want it in a game. If you wanna play this, wait until it’s cheaper.

The game is a 10, BUT its a stressful game story wise. A lot of messed up moments in the story that will leave you shaking your head and asking why? BUT i encourage you to push through and finish the game, after you do you realize this game really is a masterpiece. The overall message of the game is something everyone should understand, especially in these times.

The Last of Us Part 2 obviously had a lot to live up to. Years of anticipation and having to follow up one of the finest games ever made is no small feat. And it mostly succeeds. The gameplay is a more refined and smoother version of the first game’s mechanics, it’s a very fun and easy to play game. The acting and chemistry between characters continues to be what makes people love the franchise. The story and themes therein has predictably left people divided, but it’s for the player to judge.

Absolutely amazing game. I never play a game right after beating it. I beat this then went with a harder mode while using in game features to find all the hidden collectibles. Has absolutely game changing options to create a new game experience. Story will disappoint just bc you get so into the characters involved.

got this for my friend as a birthday gift and he was so happy. He loved the first one and tells me all the time to play it says it's an awesome game but unfortunately I'm an Xbox guy now and it's exclusive for ps4. I stopped at ps2 (which is the greatest playstation of all time).

Good story. Gameplay is good too. Some of those zombies are intense!
