Amazing game. Fantastic story that clouds right and wrong. Some may not like a game that forces you to look at the main story from two perspectives and where the traditional good vs evil model is challenged. But that's more like real life, very few are inherently evil and almost everyone can justify their choices. But this game forces you to look at your actions beyond how they effect you. It sticks with you. Amazing gameplay and graphics as well. Combat is so gratifying when done correctly.

No other game has affected me so deeply with the journey the characters go through. I found myself sympathizing with so many characters that I didn’t think I would. Combine that with solid gameplay, stellar performances and beautiful graphics and you have a recipe for one of the greatest games of all time!

When a game like TLoU1 comes along (one which changes the dynamics of video games and storytelling forever), it's inevitable that gamers and reviews alike will hold a sequel to the highest standards; perhaps ones so high, they're unattainable. It is impossible to replicate the impact which Part I had on all of us who played it. And this has lead to a great deal of arguments and scrutiny from gamers and reviewers across the board. At the end of the day, TLoU2 provides everything that a gamer who (whether you loved the 1st one, or never played it) could or would want, and more. Tension, conflict, utter fear, joy, sadness--this sequel, simply put, is a rollercoaster of emotions and complicated characters. In some ways, that is exactly what it had to be. You cannot repeat the past; so if you go in with the expectation that this will somehow change things forever like the 1st one did, you need to take a step back and be a little more objective. Obviously, if you have not played the 1st one, it won't make any sense. But that said, with the enhanced version of Part 1 at such a low price right now, I highly recommend anyone who has not played it to simply step up and buy both. In addition to storytelling and characters, the gameplay experience has been vastly enhanced by the new "Accessibility" part of the Options Menu. For example, the ability to turn on the "item auto-pick-up" option is simple but invaluable. In addition, the option to turn on "enhanced listen mode" and change the contrast of the screen during gameplay are wonderful improvements that are great options for "perfectionist players" like myself (who like to gather everything possible as they play). Overall, TLoU2 is a visually stunning and fluid game filled with complicated characters all dealing with deep emotions and desires; and most importantly, THIS GAME SUCCESSFULLY EVOKES THE SAME EMOTIONS IN THE PLAYER. Regardless of how gamers and reviewers feel about the story, sometimes it's best to put aside all the talk, and just play the game for yourself. Well done, NaughtyDog... well done.

The Last of Us Part II may subvert your every expectation, but it is nonetheless a worthy sequel to one of the best games of the last generation. Its gameplay, level design, and aesthetic style are brilliant and improve upon the foundation laid in The Last of Us in every conceivable way. The story, in Naughty Dog fashion, presents itself with maturity and finesse. The game will have you on the edge of your seat all the way through, and it will leave you thinking about it for weeks after the credits roll.

Well, we all know Naughty Dog is the best in the business. Uncharted, the last of us and now this one. An experience not to be missed. Top notch gameplay, but the real deal is the story and characters. Man, just watch the cinematics and you have your money’s worth. Better than most movies Hollywood churns out. You will live with the characters, feel them and they will live with u long after. Much more than a video game. Just play it!!

It's a really good game with a really good story, especially if you played the previous one. This is a game that you can enjoy while gaming from whenever you need something more Slower and not fast pace. It haves a story that will get you engaged more than you would expect.

I could not believe how many awards this game won this year, and decided to give it a try. In short, this game you are basically playing a movie. It blends so well from the cut scenes to gameplay and back to the cut scenes, it is truly a masterpiece. From the sound, the storyline, and of course the gameplay, get this game while it's on sale. I am actually surprised a game of this caliber is so affordable. I guess it makes up for the other $60 games I purchased with regrets.

Although I never quite finished the remaster edition of part 1, I dove right in and was pretty impressed by the characters you play and the awesome graphics and the new locations you get to explore........... especially the journey up to Seattle. So far the ride has been interesting and cant wait to see where the story goes as I get deeper. Seems like its a better game than the original, so far. But definitely might need to go back and complete my os4 remastered edition, so I know entire story.

This game has had so much controversy but honestly it is beautiful with a ton of game play so it’s worth the money I paid for it! I was on both sides of the fences all throughout the game like a rollercoaster ride that I didn’t want to get off until the end! I went from loving it, hating it, then loving it again! Just ply it for yourself, risky story on the developers part but gives a unique perspective! Loved the adventure and now I’m playing it all again with my new viewpoint it’s fantastic!

I didn't understand the negative reviews this game is getting. I'm about 80% of the way through the game and so far its been fantastic! Great writing and great gameplay! This game is totally worth the money, and its been quite lengthy so far as well. I believe people just love to complain anymore, every big game that gets hyped and people look forward to gets bashed anymore upon release. If you loved The Last Of Us part 1, you'll absolutely love the second game, don't listen to the haters!

A combination of action, stealth and role playing that keeps you on the edge of your seat from the time you load it. Not necessary to know the first story in any detail. You could even play this one first if you wanted to. I enjoyed the confrontations with new and unique faculties that were original to this series. Getting to witness and play as a more mature, grown up Ellie adds a great contrast to the original storyline. Simply put, this one stands on its own well worth the play.

solid gameplay, but the story is the highlight. while it may have its share of faults, the well crafted story is presented in an interesting and unique way that challenges the player to question their perspective on who really is the hero or the villain, and what that really means. incorporates fully developed characters with diverse backgrounds in an engaging tale the toes the line between humanity and cruelty, and the acts we are willing to take in the name of justice or revenge.

I've been hanging out for this since I played the first game. It was well worth the wait. Haters gonna hate the storyline and the characters. It's a made up narrative so people just gotta Chilllll. Despite what a lot of reviews say about this game, I very much enjoyed the story, the game and the characters. Play with an open mind and have a little empathy. This will go a long way to help explain the motives of different characters. Stunning visuals, gameplay and sooooo much detail!

This is a great game with incredible graphics and a addicting story line. For this price you can't pass it up!

The last of us was my favorite game of all time, so to say I had high expectations would be an understatement. From gameplay to graphics, this game bests it's predecessor by all measures. The story has obviously been a divisive issue, but I loved every minute of it. It's hard watching characters you've watched die, especially as graphically as depicted in this title, but it really lends to the helpless nature in which they live in their universe. 10/10

Very fun game and it seems a lot longer than the first one. Having the split perspective between two separate characters is a very interesting take. Definitely continued the great story that was present in the first game. The gameplay was fun and revamped and completely different than the first

I am someone who felt as though The Last of Us did not require a sequel. I however was more than open to the idea of a sequel. The gameplay is fine tuned with encounters acting as thrilling combat. The story is good but jumps around but in a unique way. Very story centric and overall well executed with some lows but an fantastic narrative driven game. It took 24.5hrs to complete and that was with quite a bit of exploration and I would reckon without that and collectibles would hover around 18-22hrs. None the less you are receiving a fantastic story driven narrative with combat that hasn’t evolved as much from the first in 2013 but if it ain’t broke don’t fix it.

while it may not be objectively perfect, tlou2 excels at telling a gripping story with solid mechanics and unparalleled graphics. it doesn't completely reinvent the wheel but makes enough iterative changes to make it one of the most satisfying tps with plenty of combat options. my only complaint is the story pacing is not the best and some of the gameplay loops can get repetitive/predictable. i def recommend playing on survivor w as little story spoilers as possible going in...

A truly powerful, thought-provoking journey. I laughed, I cried, I screamed, I might have thrown my controller across the room a couple times. But most of all this game really made me FEEL so much. And I appreciate everything that, when melded together, was truly an unforgettable experience. This is something that will stick with you long after the credits roll.

Naughty Dog nails it again with another game. Visually spectacular, engaging, thrilling. Well done. It is nowhere close to the feeling of the original, or the remastered for that matter. So keep that in mind. Unfortunately no game changing mechanics are introduced. Only one new type of enemy added on, etc.. All that being said, it’s a great game. I highly recommend it. Tweak with the motion blur, and camera shake to your liking and the game is visually stunning. Definitely play the original before playing this. DEFINITELY.
