The Last of Us Part 2 provides a gripping narrative and action-packed gameplay. The music and sound design is impeccable and the characters are fleshed out and human. It pushes the bar on diversity in games and does an excellent job of exploring representation. Truly a masterpiece near the end of this console generation.

One of the best games of this year!! Great follow up sequel to the first game, beautiful graphics, and love how Ellie is able to take over Joel's love of playing the guitar. So many new characters and great character development with Ellie as she's grown up and the story has taken a turn from her point of view.

[No spoilers] I personally loved this game. I know there's a lot of controversy about the direction the story takes but I think the way they executed it by the end is pretty good for the most part. If you can get past the initial shock and possible anger that comes from the direction, I believe it becomes enjoyable by the end. My only major complaint is that there are certain sections of the game that have a lot of time pass before you actually get to the next major story beat. Gameplay wise I have no complaints at all. It's an overall improvement from the last game with some new weapons, enemy types, and even smaller touches such as the ability to go prone. The graphics look great (as expected from Naughty Dog). TLDR: Good game with a story that takes a bold approach some might not agree with.

If you seen the show you then must play the game. The game is quite long but the gameplay is amazing. Great story line and you don’t have to wait a year to see Abby’s story line. 10/10 game

One of the best PlayStation 4 games ever. The gameplay and environment are second to none. The story was captivating and interesting. While the sorry is controversial because of its direction, that shouldn’t keep you from playing this masterpiece.

This game was amazing. I thoroughly loved the first TLOU, and this one reminded me why. I don't play TLOU for amazing mechanics or combat, I play it for the engaging story. And this game delivers over and over, driving a story that is painful and even conflicting to get through as a player, but that's the point. Some criticize that the game didn't change much gameplay-wise, and that's mostly true. But it doesn't feel like that matters, because you're too into the story to care about what buttons you're pressing. If you love cinematic games and engaging stories, definitely pick this one up. People need to understand that not everything is made for them. A creator wanted to make a story, and The Last of Us Part 2 is another part of the story that they wrote for us to enjoy, not a story we get to write because we wanted it to go our way. This game has gotten a lot of negative criticism for tons of reasons that, after playing the game, feel like negativity for negativity's sake - I implore you to give this game a try and enjoy it for yourself.

If you loved The Last of Us part one gracphic wise, be ready to be blown away with this one. The story line is great and the engine they used to make this game is out of this world! You wont regret playing this game.

The Last Of Us Part 2 picks up where the previous entry left off. Much like the first game, the audio and visuals are cutting edge. Additionally the story amd narrative are very strong, much like the previous entry. While there are more wide open areas (a la Uncharted 4) the controls, encounters, and pacing are pretty much the same as the prior entry. So don't expect a complete over haul compared to something like God Of War (PS4).

Just completed the story on survivor difficulty and really enjoyed it. I'll keep it short: this is one of the most impressive games I have ever played - the graphics, many of the gameplay systems and the attention to detail are truly amazing. This contains adult subject matter along the lines of gender fluidity/sexual orientation so this game isn't for people under 18 IMHO. It is extremely graphic and the attention to detail makes it even more intense, gruesome and dark. I recommend this game to anyone who likes Naughty Dog's previous titles. It's hard to recommend this game to average casual gamer because it is so intense and dark that I don't think many would enjoy it or want to see it through to the end. I mean, the trophy for completing the story is named "What I Had to Do." Also, if you are particularly sensitive to the subject matter I mentioned earlier, you should ask yourself whether you can handle video game characters talking about it. If you can handle that stuff and want to play one of the best games out there right now, I hope you pick it up and enjoy it!

Not sure why there was so much controversy with this game. Story and gameplay was great. Graphics, voice acting, everything was excellent. Naughty Dog puts lots of efforts into their games, and this was no exception. I got it for $15 on sale, and it was worth every penny.

One of the best games I've ever played. Don't let the misguided anti-LGBTQ community ruin it for you. I don't care about any of that if the story works and it does. It doesn't feel forced down my throat and seems organic. The story is longer than you think but lots of fun. Gameplay is great too.

After playing the first game in this series, I wasn't sure whether Naughty Dog could raise the bar for an S-tier game or not. However, I was pleasantly surprised and satisfied by the end of this game. A perfect blend of action and storytelling is the reason why TLOU Part II is the Game of the Year.

The first game was great, I played it a few times, and even bought the remastered ps4 game to play Ellie’s story. When they announce that a sequel was coming I was skeptical since the second game is not always as good as the first. I was wrong this game is awesome you will be pleased with your purchase I was

Incredible game! My husband and I enjoyed the story and the graphics! The different game modes were also super fun and challenging. We definitely recommend it! We were so sad to get to the end of the game lol

The gameplay is great, the graphics are top notch and beautiful on a 4K HDR display, very next-gen-like, gameplay is smooth on the PS4 Pro with very few dips, the presentation of the overall game and plot are outstanding and typical Naughty Dog. But the story is not even close to what I expected, and even uncomfortable at times. They’re definitely pushing an agenda with this one, and I really wish they had gone a different direction. I use video games to relax, get away from reality for a few hours a day, not to listen to your political and social viewpoints being shoved in my face at every turn. I wanted to play as Joel and Ellie again, see how things fleshed out after the events of the first game, which there is a little tiny bit of, not the direction they went. They did my boy wrong, and went way out in left field. This game both feels like The Last of Us and doesn’t all at the same time. Definitely NOT a 10/10. Was very excited for this one, but it falls short. I don’t pre-order and I don’t pay full price, but for the Last of Us 2, I made an exception...and I kinda wish I hadn’t. I still recommend the game, but wait for a sale. Didn’t want to believe the user reviews, but they’re not totally wrong. Doesn’t deserve 1/5 but doesn’t deserve 5/5 either. So I land somewhere in the middle.

I purchased this game for my 21 year old son. He said the graphics were good and it has a pretty good story line also. He’s happy with the game and continues to play it often. He also has the first game in this series. Overall he said to give The Last of Us part 2 a good rating.

Whatever your opinions may be on the story, even if you saw the leaks, I implore you to try this yourself if you liked the first game and like a challenging and complex narrative. Gameplay is basically just a more polished and better version of the first one, and story is just as good imo. Worth the $60.

This game was wonderful despite all the negative reviews I decided to play and finish it. This story is gut punching and beautiful with no one safe. It's a wonderful adventure and I needed an emotional break at the end. It's a tense game with almost zero letups but is extremely rewarding and wonderous.

Excellent game! Gripping story lines and fun gameplay mechanic. If you're a TLOU fan, this one is for you!
