To echo virtually every other review out there, BOTW is a special game. If you're lucky enough to find and purchase a Switch console, this game (along with Mario Kart 8) should be first on the purchase list. Nintendo has some issues, but first party game quality isn't one of them. This game is a must have.

It's a solid game. A lot has been said to compare the open world concept to the greater trend of open-world-map-driven-fetch-quests. However, while you do play to open up the maps, they don't fill in with all the quest markers like Assassin's Creed and whatnot - YOU, the player, go and find the things, and fill the map in as you go. Much more rewarding, and MUCH more fun.

All of my friends who has played Zelda recommended it to me. It is absolutely a masterpiece. I have been playing this game for a week, and here is my current opinion about Zelda. First things first, the core part of Zelda, its battle system, may look similar to Assassin's Creed or Dark Souls at a first glance, but after actually playing it I realize it is much richer. You have various ways to defeat an enemy, and you can surely find more after you spend more time on this game. Second, the game leaves players a lot of mystery at the very beginning. Soon after you start playing you will notice the volcano, the castle surrounded by strange, evil red light, and you can't stop wondering what is happening there. This is how I got hooked by this game. Third, Zelda's cooking system is interesting. You need to find out the recipes for elixirs with different effects, strengths, and lasting time by yourself if you don't hurry to see the recipes online. I have a lot of fun doing trial & error. With all these being said, five stars, no doubt.

Best Zelda game I've played yet! And I've played almost all of them! This game takes a new twist on Zelda with a huge open world and many side quests to do. I love this game and I know you will too if you are as big of Zelda fan as I am

This is such a great modern version of an old classic game. The world is expansive, detailed, and interactive. This game provides hours of unplanned game play. This can and should be considered one of the best Zelda games. A must buy for any Nintendo Switch owner.

I'm not even halfway through the game and I can say with certainty that this is one of the best Zelda games I've ever played (and that's saying a lot). I bought the Switch solely to play this game and while I was questioning my decision beforehand, I can say I'm questioning it no longer. Highly recommended!

It's a great game. If you are able to get the Master Sword the bosses are easy.

Amazing game! Great graphics, completely open world. Literally hours of fun.

After playing it for 6 weeks, I gotta say this is the best game ever! I haven't completed the game or even think I have gotten close to 50% complete. There is lots to do in the game and when you think you're about to do (complete) something, you're off doing something else. Great game that keeps you busy.

This game when released had some issues but the game play made it all better, patches made it better and it only became more enjoyable. The detail in the environment and physics make this one of the best games I have ever played. It's a joy to randomly roam around in and I can't wait to pick it back up in a few years. Please Nintendo make another Zelda with this engine.

Get ready to set aside 200 hours in order to completely find all of the hidden memories, side quests, and hidden items/weapons/armor. The controls are flawless, and the graphics are gorgeous. It is the only must-own game for the Switch. (Though, I have four of them, and they are all fun in their own way)

This game is LEGENDARY!!! I bought Switch mostly because I wanted to play this game. I’ve spent more than 100 hours in this game. I just couldn’t stop! I am not a video gamer at all, I had basically zero experience in video games. But this game is just great for beginners and it has so much to play with.

The best game out currently for the Nintendo switch. I was trying to pick a game that my husband would play with me. I decided on a two player game, but really wanted Thisbe one too. I came back the next day for Breath of Wild and haven't looked back yet. Lots of exploring to do with this game and tons of fun too! Parts are extremely challenging but not ao much that I want to quit.

The greatest Zelda game of all time. An absolute must have for any switch owner. If you've never played a Zelda game before get this one and you won't regret it. Possibly the best switch game currently available. 5/5

Beautifully rendered game, with a large open world ready to be explored, this is an incredible zelda game. Controls are precise yet forgiving, and there's a lot of stuff to keep busy with for many hours. Excellent reason to purchase a Switch!

I have been a huge fan of the Zelda series ever since the original. Breath of The Wild is definitely different than all of the other Zelda games, but it was refreshing. They kept a lot of the dungeon elements Intact and also some of the simple puzzles here and there. I’ve put tons of time into the game and have gotten bored of it yet.

Probably one of the best Zelda games. Heavy gamers will love this game. If you are not into open-world games you may want to pass. I happen to be a person that doesn't care for open-world games so I gave this four stars.

This is the best Zelda game ever made. It's very ambitious, and in a good way. The leap that this Zelda game from the last game in the franchise took a lot of faith. I'm glad Nintendo decided to go in this direction. The new mechanics introduced, the open world, and the overall gameplay all score 10/10. This game is amazing! Buy it, buy it, buy it!!!

I've already put over 200 hours into this game, astonishingly. There's never a shortage of things to do, and you can quite literally explore every inch of the world map (which is enormous, to say the least). This iteration of Zelda rings true of "if you can think it, you can do it." Utterly unbelievable.

Title says it all... this game is just non-stop "wow..!!! this is amazing" From Visual appeal.. to Story.. to impressiveness!! its all absolutely ENDLESS!! It usually takes me a really long time to beat Zelda games, cause I easily get LOST in the environments.. and this is NO Exceptions! It only gets BETTER!! the more I Play!
