Absolutely stunning game. True to Zelda roots but on a more massive scale. Is a must have if you own a switch. This game and Mario sell the switch.

So I know my opinion of this game does not reflect the masses at this point. I have only played about 6-8 hours of it so far, and most of it was just frustrating. **MINOR SPOILERS MAYBE** So at the beginning of the game you have to visit 4 shrines. 1 of them is deep in the mountains where you can freeze to death without fire. So I painfully made my way with wood, fire arrows, and torches to the shrine. I get to the top of this mountain, and the old dude is like, "Wow, I admire your tenacity in getting here without the proper clothing. Here take this garb to keep yourself warm." I knew I needed clothing or something, but the game gives you absolutely no direction on how to get it. That sucked! Now, after you complete all 4 shrines, you get main quest markers to help you on your way. Since then, the game has gotten 'better', but I'm still not seeing an OoT Level of Zelda here. I still don't know how to cook :( I will update this review once I have played much more / beaten the game. I will probably upgrade to 4 stars, but we shall see.

Great game. Nintendo continues the classic title on its newest console.

This is by far the best Zelda game in the franchise and fans will be extremely happy by its innovative gameplay for the switch! Highly recommended!

Amazing game, beat it the week it came out, Regretting getting rid of it and definitely going to re buy!

A really amazing game. Lots of things to do and places to see. This is really a fantastic game.

MY son typically solves games or becomes bored with them within a day or two. He has played with this game consistently for hours a month after buying it.

Amazing there is so much to do in game, you can literally spot anything off in the distance and go to it.

I’m not very good at the game, but I’ve had a great deal of fun with it and have put around 10 hours into it so far and am nowhere near completing it.

Couldn't wait to get a Switch and of course the new Zelda BOTW. This is "The Game" to have just like Twilight Princess was with Wii. Just get it, Great Game!

I didn't think any game would captivate me as much as Zelda: Ocarina of Time did, but Breath of the Wild has been one of the best Zelda journeys of all time.

Probably one of the best Zeldas so far. With a mix of adventure and open world it is perfectly crafted together.

I bought this for my grandson and he said it was an "awesome" game. He had actually played it just a few days earlier with a friend at the friend's house.

Legend of Zelda never fails. This game is amazing and you’ll sink easily a hundred hours doing everything. Great graphics, story and smooth gameplay.

The graphics were well done and the controls are easy for anyone new to the Switch. If you loved the Zelda games before this, you will not be disappointed!

I have really been enjoying this game, especially its open map. My boyfriend is further along than I, but he is having a lot of fun with it.

One of the best Zelda titles in a while! Can be challenging at times, but worth the buy and the time.
