Ok, so if you are a Zelda fan you need this game. It's hands down one of the most well constructed and polished video game I've played in two years. The world is MASSIVE and beautiful. The story is engaging and can be played at your pace. This game is like Zelda meets Skyrim without Skyrim's awful combat. Get this game you will not be disappointed. I play it on a Switch docked to a 70" 4k TV (in1080 for Switch) still looks amazing.

I have an Xbox One, Xbox One S, PS4 Pro, PSVR and now the Switch. I play games on all of the platforms and while graphically Zelda on the Switch certainly does not match the other consoles, the game itself is so engrossing and addicting that it makes up for a bit less graphics performance. The game is fluid to play and I really like its rating so that any age can play it. No bad language, excessive violence or gore that I have noticed so far. To be honest, the only reason I got the Switch was to play Zelda and it was worth the price of admission.

This is one of the greatest if not the greatest Zelda game ever made. So much to do in this huge world, you’ll get lost in it for hours!

This is probably the best game on Switch and definitely the best Nintendo title on the console. However, I would say in the general spirit of past Zelda games, I liked Wind Waker more. That said, BotW has far more depth of gameplay mechanics and puts any Zelda title before it to shame in that regard. Must own Switch game.

I have yet to finish but the game is very fun and isn't to difficult to catch up on what I missed in the original.

Ever since the switch was revealed I knew I had to have it, and finally when I was able to buy it (despite being a year after it’s initial release) everyone recommended breath of the wild and said I had to buy it. I never played a Zelda game nor have I had interest but this one intrigued me so I gave it a shot. I’m glad I did as it has become my most played game on the switch. I have been sucked into the world of Zelda that I even purchased 3 amibos for it. Definitely a must buy if you have or intend to purchase a switch!

Great gameplay. I really feel as if I'm traveling a real world. It is a joy traveling this world since there is so many things to see. I actually like that weapons break as it forces us to use different weapons (In old zelda's I never changed my weapons). The music (which is nice) plays when it's appropriate to play. The game is long, and I think it's worth the money. I play in short moments during my day and it works for me (the shrines are short - perfect for on the go gameplay). The portability factor on the Switch makes this all even better!

Feels like the original in terms of wide open exploration. Fun connecting w my kids while they experience Zelda the way I did 20 years ago with mysticism

The scope and size of the open world (and the game in general) is mind boggling. It truely feels like you're on an epic adventure. Breath of the Wild is different in many ways than previous Zelda entries but I welcome the changes. It's an incredible game you can get lost in for weeks or months at a time. The world is beautiful, the exploitation is never ending, the shrine/puzzles are fun brain teasers, the weapon/rune variety is satisfying to use in and out of combat. There's cooking, tons of side quests, plenty of things to see, find and do!
