I bought this for my kiddo for Christmas and she loves it! I was a gamer but now my child has taken over the reigns. Lol. Seriously, she likes this game. It’s like a maze to her! I have seen her play and enjoy this game.

It's Zelda meets GTA, so it's perfect. Almost too much game to play it I'm honest. Multiple times I've been sidetracked by a side quest to another side quest in a third inception side quest. You can play for hours, seeing something all together new and just get utterly lost in the world.

The graphics and story line are amazing; haven't spent this much time playing a game in years!! Must have game for anyone with a switch!

Stunning sums it up. Imagine being able to move throughout the map of this massive iteration of Hyrule with absolutely zero load times. Gameplay is perfect with exploits galore as you learn new techniques. Story is lacking overall as most reviews will point out, however I make up my own story for Link as he moves from each imposing environment. This is an experience for the ages.

Fantastic game, has a ton of content and the open world is extremely immersive.

Zelda BOTW is an open-world, adventure game that is perfect for kids or adults alike. As a female gamer in my 30's, I was mostly into Fallout 4 when I purchased the Switch along with Zelda. It has completely taken me away from Fallout and now Zelda is all I want to play on a daily basis. There is so much to explore and the land is vast. This game is relaxing and exciting to play, and you will be addicted from day one.

What else can I say about this game - I am playing through for the 2nd time (first on Wii U) and it is probably the best game ever made. Especially in these horrible pandemic times, being able to spend a few hours roaming through this beautiful immersive landscape and get away from it all is very therapeutic. I really hope they nail BOTW2 when it comes out, or make Ocarina of Time with this game engine.

I absolutely love this game. There is so much to do in this game that it is incredible!!!! All Zelda fans should enjoy this one so much.

I was on the fence about this for a long time, mostly because it was so expensive and I'm pretty tight with my money. Finally bought it and, wow, this really is as good as advertised. Almost too good. Like the way I've heard people describe what it's like to take opioids is how I feel when I play this. Entire hours go by, so be careful. But if you're looking for a good game to buy, it won't be wasted if you buy this.

Another amazing Zelda game! It can get overwhelming with how open the world is, how weapons and shields break, but it is fun to explore! I’ve barely done much of the main storyline because there’s so much you can do!

I originally didn't want to believe the reviews that this game was better than Ocerina of Time but I broke down and bought this game and a switch. 110 hours later I can confirm that this is hands down the best Zelda game ever made and my favorite game of all time. It doesn't have the classic Zelda story, but it avoids all the issues with a classic Zelda. Gone is the "trade this to that guy when you don't know who or what to trade" of past Zelda titles. This is a zelda title of wondering around in the woods.

I love this game. it's unlike any zelda game before it. It takes a bit getting used too if you've played previous zeldas, but once you embrace the freedom that the game gives you, it becomes very fun. I've found that the fun isn't the boss fights or the dungeons, but in getting to these buildings, because the game is very good at making it hard for you to get to different landmarks. i still haven't beat it, but this is a great game to buy and one that will last the average player quite a long time

This game has been monumental in my mind in how it transforms video games for me. The world feels so alive and has so many things to do that you can spend half of your time just having fun on the side before actually dealing with the meaty content of the game. The very essence of the game is just fun and it can be very difficult to move on to other games after playing something with as much freedom as this allows.

Game is amazing. It's very different than any other Zelda game but also very familiar. Graphics, story, and gameplay are all top notch.

I'm a big fan of the Switch overall. And I haven't owned a Nintendo console since the 64. Best Buy staff was a lil rude but it was late

After trying out this game and end up loving it and finishing it in 2 weeks I must say I'm impressed with how large and long it has been to play (and in a good way). For it to fit into a switch is such a dream to have an AAA game on the go. The gameplay itself is decent, though the horse mechanics is garbage so I ended up spending most of my time just running around. Overall this was a great experience!

Play this. You won't regret it. Beautiful atmosphere, accessible game play, and a world you will not forget.
