Definitely won game of the year for a reason. There is so much to do outside of the main story. You can spend 100+ hours on this game.

I love it how when you explore vast open world. :)

Despite being impressed with the new games produced every year, I find myself hardly playing any. I wasn't sure about picking this game up due to that reason, but on a hunch I tried it out anyway. This game is incredible. The ability to explore every object you see in the distance, and the new battle mechanics that don't rely solely on perfect timing in order to strike work incredibly well together. The quirky side characters in the story are very enjoyable as well, leaving me with a good time whether I'm merely climbing a mountain range I spotted in the distance or enjoying the main story of the game itself. I would certainly recommend this game for anyone that enjoys gaming, or finds them self interested in trying this game out.

One of the best games I've ever played. I've played through it 4 different times now and bought it for friends as a gift. It's excellent.

Controls are going to be very difficult. Game will not give you many instructions. Pay attention to little things, gusts of wind, direction of son, were the birds fly, etc. This game is hard. Not a children's game. Never played Zelda before but needed a game for the system. It's really really good, but if you not ready you will hate it. Don't let if turn you off of the system. The game itself is fun once you get used to it. Just explore, forget the story till you are as strong as can be.

This is one of, if not the best games out there for the Switch. Very immersive and will keep you busy for a long time with a very expansive story and ability to roam and explore

Obviously one of the best games out right now, of all time actually. Wide open world, great graphics, assume fight system, good story, etc. The only criticism i have is the controls can be a bit janky.

This game is crazy amazing. Open world Zelda like we've never seen it before. Graphics and story are amazing. If you've ever played Zelda before than you know it's gold. Easily game of the year 2017!

Breath of the wild has a great story in this game from the Zelda series. gameplay is a lot of fun and challenging keeping you to want to play more. Can easily put a lot of hours into this game.

One of the most unique video game experiences I've ever had. This is a huge game that dares to expand the idea of what a Zelda game can be. Truly one of the best video games of the decade.

Liking this game really comes down to whether or not you like the mechanic that the weapons break down in my opinion. In the early game, you have to constantly be picking up weapons and dealing with them breaking in a few hits and it just created a lot of frustration with me and some of my friends. I acknowledge that it is a great, high quality game thus the 4 stars, but the weapon mechanics have taken a lot of the fun out of the game for me.

I recently bought this game as I am new to Zelda but have always heard a lot about it. I am so happy I made this purchase. The story line is interesting and the gameplay is incredible.

Amazing game. Just absolutely brilliant. I'd thoroughly recommend it to anyone. Everything about it, from the controls to the gameplay to the world, feels perfect. Arguably my favorite game of all time.

This is hands-down the best Zelda game ever made. It's quite challenging, so I wouldn't recommend it as a first/beginner game, but for the experienced gamer it will be a fantastic experience.

I've been having so much fun with this! Turning Zelda into an open world game, even more than its ever been is literally genius! I love just traveling around, admiring the colors and the world.

All the accolades this game gets is well deserved. Lots of things to do, amazing story, and great combat has made this one of the best zelda games ever made!

Awesome new take on a legend of Zelda series. Perfect length if you want to just beat the story mode, but also very deep side quests and exploration opportunities. My favorite Zelda since Majoras Mask.
