Customers are saying

Customers highly value the smooth gameplay, overall performance, and the magical open world, often praising its great story, fun exploration, and extensive content. However, some customers express concerns regarding weapon durability and the higher-than-expected difficulty. Additionally, issues with frame rate and a steep learning curve for controls were noted.

Drop all other games you are playing and play this one. There's something in it for everyone. You can spend time exploring the world, where every location you see can be traveled too. You can search for combat and test your skills with tough enemies by hack and slashing or using creative and unique solutions. You can hunt for puzzles and quests that require a bit more on the brains. Along the way, you may end up doing all three, having discovered a beautiful place and lost plenty of sleep. As a small reference, I hadn't played any 3D Zelda games before and I felt very comfortable within a few hours of playing.

I loved Zelda on 64, but this is completely different. It's incredibly challenging, you have to worry about overheating, freezing, durability of weapons. Great game!

I was blown away how beautiful the game runs and looks on handheld mode. As the player, this is the first time we have the full control of an open world Zelda game

I have played Zelda since the original on Nintendo when I was 4 and then fell in love with Ocarina of Time on N64 and am a die hard fan. OOT was always going to be my favorite game ever. Majoras Mask and Twilight Princess were great games, but had nothing on OOT. Breath of the Wild is next level. If you love playing Zelda or RPGs even a little bit, this game is for you. I spent 100+ hours playing to beat it (you could do less, but I enjoy exploring) and I could play another hundred hours and continue to find new quests to tackle. This game is a masterpiece.

I was skeptical about an open world Zelda, but this exceeded every expectation I had. 100 hours in, and I feel like I could put in another 100 before I even finish it.

This is one of the best if not the best games I've ever played. The open world is fun to explore and will provide many, many hours of fun! I can't recommend this game enough.

The world just feels like it keeps going. There are plenty of challenging battles and quests but there are also wide plains and dense forests to get lost in.

This Zelda game is different from the previous ones. You start off without gear, like before. However, you can take weapons off fallen enemies. Every weapon, shield, or bow you get will break. The higher quality ones will last longer. You don't take on dungeons. You find shrines, which you have to solve. Some have enemies, some are puzzles, others are a combination of both. You don't have to go in any specific order, or they can be skipped entirely. The world is huge, beautiful and dangerous. If you don't mind the departure from the classic Zelda formula, you might love this game.

Just an awesome evolution of the Zelda series from the old formula to a new open world. Traversing the sprawling landscape is rewarding and fun. A must play for everyone!

Easily the best Zelda to date (and that's saying alot considering they're all amazing games) and so far the most fun I've had in any game in a long time. If you like any of the other Zelda's you'll def love this game, no doubt about it. And with it getting 10's across the board and probably the highest ratings for any game in the modern era, I'd say I'm not alone in my opinion. I bought the Switch just to play this game (which the Switch is really amazing as well, just needs time to widen it's library and better it's UI) and im not upset at all for the money I spent, cuz its easily the best launch game for any console ever.

The Zelda series is one of my favorites, consistently good if not always amazing. This game though, this game feels like the one I've been waiting for since Ocarina of Time on the N64. The game is incredible, not for its physics system, its massive and diverse open world, the freedom it gives players, or its rich art style, but for all these things working together in one seamless whole that becomes more than the sum of its parts. I have never played a game that offered so much fun through aimless wandering. If you like to explore, if you're looking for a flexible, choice-driven gaming adventure, this is the game for you.

Zelda Breath of the Wild is a fantastic open world style game which has an excellent story line and a good bit of collectibles and challenges to keep you busy. There are 4 divine beast that are really clever dungeons layouts + 120 shrine challenges and 900 Korok seeds as well as side quests and the main story. I have really enjoyed the landscape and find myself exploring for the sake of exploring. I haven't completed the game as of yet but have thuroughly enjoyed it. I would highly recommend it.

I purchased this game without reading into it. It's Zelda and I enjoy the games past, so this one should be no different. It is a great game in my opinion. But what they did with the weapon systems in this game though, bold move. I was very iffy about it at first, but as the game went on, I was more than satisfied. It gives the player to think about when going into a fight. The limited lifespan of each weapon means you shouldn't get too attached to any one weapon. They will (almost) all need to be replaced sooner than later. Good story, with a lot of side quests and easy to follow tracking methods.
